I have another chapter!!!!!
Chapter 3
Edmund held out his hand to stop the taxi. They had taxis back in his day, but they had gotten a little bit more modern. He hoped the prices hadn’t raised too much, he didn’t have a lot of money. But truthfully he was more nervous about seeing his brother again. He was a soldier, a man of order, and honor. Edmund hadn’t been that type, he hated orders. He had raised himself after Steve left, and he wouldn’t deny that he messed up a few times and paid heavily for it but in the end, he liked being reckless and being his own boss.
“Where do you want to go?” The taxi driver asked as he pulled up.
“How much money would it cost to get here?” Rebecca pointed to the destination on the map.
“Well today’s my lucky day, it’s going to cost a pretty penny.” The man said with a giant smile.
Edmund and Rebecca shared a look. They didn’t have very much money and they couldn’t afford to use it on a taxi.
“By any chance is there a cheaper way to get there?” Rebecca asked trying to be as polite as possible.
“You’re asking the taxi driver, the cheaper way to get to your destination so you don’t have to pay him money?”
Rebecca couldn’t deny that it was a little rude, but this guy couldn’t begin to imagine all they’d been through.
“Sir we really don’t have much money, so any help would be great.” Rebecca was practically begging.
The man sighed, “The subway can get you there pretty cheap and quick.”
“Thank you, Sir,” Rebecca said with a kind smile. Which Edmund thought was worth millions.
“Tourist,” The man mumbled as he drove off.
“Come on let’s go!” Rebecca said as she ran to the nearest subway.
Edmund smiled, usually it was him getting excited about things, but Rebecca was more excited to see his brother than he was.

The subway wasn’t going fast enough for Edmund or Rebecca. Rebecca had been standing up holding onto the pole, prepared to leave the second they arrived. But with a sigh, she took a seat next to Edmund, who was studying the newspaper like there was going to be a test.
“You know you have to know everything about them,” Rebecca said gesturing to the newspaper.
“He stayed the same age because he froze in the ice,” Edmund said paying no attention to Rebecca’s comment.
“Edmund, did you even hear me?”
Edmund looked up from his paper to see a single tear roll down Rebecca’s face. “I’m sorry,”
“It’s okay, I get why you would want to read the paper so diligently.”
“That’s not what I’m sorry about,” Edmund looked Rebecca in the eyes. “I’m sorry that my brother survived and yours didn’t.”
Rebecca quickly pushed her tears back, she was a hopeful person, but sometimes it was so tiring to be happy. When all you want to do is roll into a ball and cry.
“It’s not your fault,”
“No, but I still have sympathy for you, you’re my best friend.”
“Thanks,” Rebecca leaned her head on Edmund.
Edmund wrapped his arm around her and held her tight. “You know you’re allowed to cry, right?”
“I know,” Rebecca looked up at Edmund and smiled. “But how can I cry when you’re here.”
Edmund smiled and then held her even tighter. Rebecca was his best friend, and when they had lost everyone they still had each other. And nothing could change that, nothing.

Edmund stood in awe at the building. Rebecca had managed to feel hopeful again and to get excited to see Steve again, but staring at the building she wondered if it was possible.
“How do you suppose we get over this fence?” Rebecca asked looking over at Edmund.
“It’s not the first fence we’ve climbed,” Edmund stated with a grin.
“Yeah but it’s the first electric fence,” Rebecca pointed to the high voltage sign.
Edmund thought for a second, he finally figured out a plan but he knew Rebecca would go for it.
“Do you trust me?” Edmund asked with a smile that meant nothing good.
“Yes…” Rebecca didn’t like where this was going.
“Good,” Edmund put his palm on his other palm like a cheerleader would do if they were going to throw someone.
“No, no, no,” Rebecca could already see where this was going and she didn’t want any part of it. “I’m not going to let you throw me!”
“It would only be a light throw,”
“That doesn’t make me feel any better.” Rebecca crossed her arms.
“Please,”
“What’s your plan when I get over the fence?”
“Hopefully someone will come out and catch us.”
“Your plan is to get caught?!”
“Yeah, because then they’ll probably take us inside, and then Steve will see us, and from there it’s a big family reunion.”
Rebecca rolled her eyes and then looked at Edmund who still had his hands ready.
“Fine,”
Rebecca stepped onto his hand and then prepared herself.
“Three, two, one!”
Edmund let out a sigh of relief when Rebecca landed on the other side of the fence without touching the fence.
“Are you okay?”
“Besides a broken arm, I’ll be fine,” Rebecca said with a chuckle. Rebecca wasn’t mad at Edmund because truthfully she was always up for something exciting or dangerous.
“Okay, good,”
Wanda and Sam looked at the camera video. What were these two teenagers doing?!
“What on earth are they doing?” Sam asked getting ready to go out there.
“I don’t know, but I’ll find out,” Wanda said grabbing her red jacket.
“No offense Wanda, but are you sure you’ll scare two teenagers?”
Wanda gave a look that proved Sam wrong.
“Never mind,”
“Good,” Wanda walked out to the lawn of the building.
“Hi,” Rebecca gave a small wave.
“Who are you two?” Wanda asked looking at Edmund and Rebecca.
“I’m Edmund Rogers, Captain America’s brother.” Edmund stated looking proud.
“You two are creative, I’ll give you that.” Wanda’s sokovian accent came off strong. “What about you?” Wanda looked over at Rebecca.
“I’m Rebecca Barnes, James Barnes’ sister, or as everyone calls him Bucky.”
“You two did research,” Wanda didn’t by their story for a second. “But I suggest you come with me, and we’ll see what Steve thinks of you impersonating his brother.” The word brother rang through Wanda’s head. It hurt her, she wondered how long it would be before it didn’t.
“Uh, no offence but what powers do you have that would make us follow you?” Edmund had no problem going inside, actually it was his plan, but he was curious.
Wanda bent a hole in the fence with her powers and then looked at Edmund.
“Okay, never mind,” Edmund walked through the hole and then watched as Wanda closed it.
Rebecca and Edmund followed behind Wanda. “My plan worked,” Edmund said with a wink.
“Yeah, yeah, whatever,” Rebecca said with a smile.

Steve walked down the stairs of the Avengers building, Sam had called him down and told him his brother was here. Sam had laughed as he said it, but Steve hadn’t found it that amusing. He had a brother, but well… he was gone now. He thought it wa sick for someone to act like his sibling.
“So what’s this about my brother?” Steve asked as he came down the stairs.
“Hey Steve,” Edmund said giving a salute to Steve.
Steve stood in awe, how could it be? How was his brother here? How was his brother alive?
“Edmund!” Steve and Edmund embraced in a hug.
Sam and Wanda shared a look, that was his actual brother.
“Hi Steve,” Rebecca said with a smile.
“Rebecca…” Her smile hadn’t changed since she was nine. “How are you two here? And how are you two so young?”
“Wow that’s hurtful,” Edmund said with a grin.
“It’s a long story.” Rebecca said with a smile.
Edmund and Rebecca could hide their joy. After all this time Edmund’s brother had survived, Steve Rogers had survived.
