Nah, I totally get ya, girl! I don’t often have much time for the forum either, because of academy. So don’t apologize for not responding the very second I tag you. 😉
I understand that – I had a lot of trouble pinpointing Paul’s flaws too at first; mainly because I still thought of him as being at that unattainable height. Besides that, I think our main characters are often the toughest to figure out! XD
The flaws you have come up with for Peter sound super realistic already, though. From reading the Gospels, I’ve kind of ascertained that Peter had quite an impulsive temper but quickly regretted his actions. (The example that popped into my mind right away was when he denied Jesus three times, and when he heard the rooster’s crowing, he immediately ran out and wept.)
Oh my goodness. My poor boi Simon! He sounds like a character I’d just want to hug. I especially like the alcoholic flaw. Sounds like you’re taking him down quite a powerful redemptive path!
Ooh, that’s a good one for Matthew. Totally makes sense with his being a former tax collector and all.

Where'd I get ya this time? The liver? The kidney? I'm runnin' outta places to put holes in ya.

Yes, MCs are hard! When it comes to pinpointing flaws, I always have the most trouble with them. 😛
I’m so glad you think so!
Yes, that is a great example of his impulsiveness! 🙂I know!!! I want to hug him, too, honestly… XD I’m so glad you like him! 😀
This is a bit off topic, but how long have you been working on The Apostle’s Sister for?

So I’ve been working on TAS (which I actually renamed the Life of Sacrifice Series) for one year now. A couple months ago I decided to write a series instead of just a novel, and I renamed the series Life of Sacrifice. The books I’ve planned are 1) Temira: Saved, 2) Naamah: Broken, and 3) Seth: Anointed.
I ordered some New Testament research tools, and as soon as they arrived, I’m going to start outlining and drafting Temira: Saved. Hoping to have the first draft done by the end of March.
