Wow, thank you everyone for the more-than-hearty welcome! You’re right @rolena-hatfield, this is going to be far more fun than merely stalking you all 😀 Now to answer a few of your questions…
@kate-flournoy The fact you’ve actually been WAITING for me to join the Forum blew me away! What a compliment 🙂 I don’t really have a set genre (though I love reading fantasy, and the only book I’ve seriously attempted writing belongs there). And MBTI = Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, right? I looked it up once and I’m either ISTJ or IFTG. I think.
@ingridrd Thanks for the welcome! Glad you enjoyed the article 🙂@winter-rose DON’T ASK ME TO CHOOSE! But if you insist, I love Tolkien, the original Sherlock Holmes mysteries (I’ve read all 60 of them!), the Inheritance Cycle, and anything by C.S. Lewis. What about you?

@gretald Thanks for the welcome! I hail from the itty-bitty town of Fraserville in Canada (about two hours’ drive from Toronto), and Moosetracks is the best icecream in existence (now isn’t a flavour like that stereotypically Canadian).
@emma-flournoy Hello yourself 🙂 No, Ontario is sadly lacking in any mountains, which never ceases to annoy me. I used to live in very mountainous British Columbia, but I am now in exile in a land as flat and green as the rolling hills of the Shire.And last but not least: @sarah-h @hope @dragon-snapper. @Sierra-r You do well in mentioning Tolkien and C.S. Lewis. 🙂 😉 Wow I didn’t know there were sixty Sherlock Holmes mysteries! I’ve only read one, and I quite liked it :). I ‘avent read the Inheritance Cycle (is that the one with the dragon rider Eragon and his dragon Saphira? and he has an elf lady friend?).
I love the Shock of Night and the Wingfeather Chronicles. I think there is more, but my mind is going blank.:)

@winter-rose. I LOVED the Wingfeather saga! Speaking of which, I should pick them up again, I’ve only read them once. I’m not NaNoing this year (drat it for being in November when I’m busy memorising for Bible Quiz tournaments), but I’m still hoping to work a lot on the novel I’m doing with my sister.
@sierra-r Hey, you’re like me! I’m not doing NANO either. November is the worst possible month for me. It’s probably the busiest season ever, so I doubt it will EVER get done in November. If you want, (if we both are still here and by God’s will) maybe we could have our own NaNoWriMo in some summer month, when there is no school. (just a random idea I had) Either, I’ll be doing it sometime next summer.
