Hey everyone,
How about why try something fun? I don’t know if this will work, but we will try. We are going to write a poem together.
Here is how it will work. You can submit only one line at a time, but it can be whatever you want so long as it works with the rest of the poem. You can write with rhyme, meter, slant, alliteration, free verse, or whatever you want so long as it sounds poetical. However, you can’t post twice in a row. You must wait for somebody else to post before you can post again. Also, you can’t post more than four times. The poem will be done whenever I decide that it is finished. I will start with the first line.
“When Autumn winds excite the leaves”

Good idea, Daeus. This should be at once ridiculously fun and instructive.
October 13, 2015 at 7:18 pm #6523Oops— whisper, not whispers. Sorry.
October 13, 2015 at 8:44 pm #6526“When raindrops tumble off the eaves”
Dang, only one line at a time?
October 13, 2015 at 8:50 pm #6528Great great, now we need to go somewhere. We need a “then …” type of line.

October 13, 2015 at 9:11 pm #6530“Then, I feel at home.”
"When enemies attack your kingdom you don't flee you show them why it's your kingdom. With your lightsaber."
October 13, 2015 at 9:44 pm #6531‘For wind and rain and leaf and tree’
This is going to be either a crowning achievement or a crowning mess. Who cares which one? The point is to do it. This is fun!
October 13, 2015 at 9:48 pm #6532“Speak of Love much greater than me”
Might’ve been better as two lines, but oh well. xD

Hm, first I thought this was going to be a nature poem, but why not go with both?
So what do we have so far?‘When Autumn winds excite the leaves
and whisper through the fading grass,
When raindrops tumble off the eaves,
Then, I feel at home. For wind and rain and leaf and tree
speak of Love much greater than me.
To know that Love, and see that Love…’Hm. It’s rough, at best, but we can polish it later.
