@whalekeeper Well, it’s better than sticking your idea into an AI, generating something, then passing it off as yours. I’m not 100% against image creation that way but I hate it when people claim it as “their art” to get clout on like the internet and stuff. It’s really not your art per se, it’s just an image you made using a program (sometimes using stolen artstyles if the ai came from somewhere like deviantart)

Oof. I recently hit a crisis in my art that filled a Pinterest board with skeletons, proportion guides, and the old watercolor illustrations that started this whole goose chase. It’ll likely be stuffed with color theory stuff sooner than later.
I’m on a mission to learn how to draw right.
I’ll probably never reach that, but if I can pull some more realistic beauty into my style, then I’m happy. XD

This literally happened yesterday in our stories lol
context: Our story’s universe reveres humans as their “world-makers”. Huntress, one of my characters, was heavily inspired by myself. The Devourists, a weird sect which, like, practically worships our dog (“the devourer” cause he’d eat our Legos if he could, and the Legos were where this story started although it’s now mostly told to each other orally), basically mistook her for me and promptly tried to make her their leader, and she was all like “what the heck leave me alone I’m just a normal character”
It was very much a “Paul and Barnabas in that one city where they thought they were gods” situation lol.
They also tried to kill Sniper solely for existing cause idk, they didn’t like how he and Huntress were together XD. Fortunately they were all obliterated by a rockfall that was accidentally caused by some other characters before they could actually hurt anyone.
