If you want to talk about emotional struggles, you are free to do that. But I think Ellette simply wanted to make a joke about how much she likes soccer, and so it makes sense for her to defend her love of the sport when you responded with negativity.

also you can not really take a hint… I was clearly venting out my trauma that I have from soccer and the reason I hate it…
I get that, I could guess you’d had a bad time, but that is no excuse to say unkind things or harsh things about others. Just because you have emotional scars doesn’t mean you can lash out at people or generalize like you did.
I had no intention of triggering bad memories or anything like that. I was only sharing something I found funny concerning an activity I enjoy. I don’t think it was right of you to respond so harshly and attack me like that, especially since I could have had no possible knowledge that you had a rough time with it. And yes, it was an attack against me since I am a soccer player and you were pretty harshly attacking those who play the sport. The way you responded is not Biblical or right, and I was merely trying to point that out to you in a kind way.
I know you’re going to be angry when you read this, but I’d really appreciate it if you take a moment before replying and see if there is really any truth in what I’m saying.
I’ve very sorry you had a rough time, and it’s sad that you weren’t treated well. I can sympathize, and I truly am sorry that it happened and that I brought up bad memories.
I have gone through some very rough things in my life and I have received cruel treatment and even abuse from those I thought were friends. But not every platform and every moment is the right to air that, and it can be done in a more Christ-like way should you chose to bring it up.
Again, I had no intention of hurting you when I posted that meme. I hope you know that.
