I kind of want to watch Gravity Falls, and I don’t know why because usually this type of cartoon turns me off. However, I don’t have a streaming service that has it so I’ve never gotten around to it. Also, none of my siblings are interested. Maybe one day…

@linus-smallprint @whalekeeper yeah, for some reason most modern 2D animated cartoons really turn me off. IDK why, but the only 2D show I ever actually liked was a Tron-themed one that ran for only one season.

@whalekeeper yes! While Clone Wars is the OG and thus I’m always gonna view it highly, Bad Batch focuses more on a singular story, and most of the sideplots are only one episode long (and most of them tie into the main story toward the end; I say most cause there are a few outliers) It’s more solid and linear in its storytelling.
Fun fact, IDK if this is true, but I read once that the Bad Batch were up against Ahsoka’s smuggler friends from the other Clone Wars Season 7 arc in a “which one should we flesh out more and have them show up in more media” kinda contest and the Batch won by far. (They even have a book and a comic series about them coming out over the course of the year!!)
I don’t know if that’s true though, cause I mean like the other characters weren’t nearly as interesting, and I can’t imagine how the producers thought they even had a chance against the literal Star Wars A-Team. The part about the comics and the book are true though.
