      The Last Arch of Haran

Haran was long regarded as one of history’s most famous war heroes. This arch still stands at the tp of the mountain where he was last seen. Legend says that Haran disappeared after walking through it to pursue greater things.

Nowadays the place stands as a nice place to have a picnic, although there is a bit of fog.

Lately, it's been on my brain
Would you mind letting me know
If hours don't turn into days

          The Mountainous Forest

          The forest. The mountain.
In this world and in this place, they were the same thing.

Especially in the wintertime when the treetops looked like thick, cold clouds with tall brown sticks leading up and disappearing into them. The wind, though it didn’t blow often there, was bitterly cold. The air tasted… oh yes, you could taste the air here. It most often tasted like a fresh peppermint stick or an even fresher mint leaf. The birds nary sang, though if you were very quiet, you would hear whooshing in the trees as they flew from branch to branch. Mostly snowy owls of course.
And if you walked with your eyes to the ground, you would see little snow prints scattered all over the place. Not the regular kind, however, such as rabbits and sparrows, but those of a more mysterious nature. Such as the white unicorns that darted about during the night when the moon consented to spill its silvery-blue light through the cracks in the trees.
