Funnily enough, I fell asleep XD.
Good!
My work is done, I got my Negative argument all formulated, now it’s just doing it tomorrow without a panic attack.
Is this Lincoln-Douglas or policy?
Now that that’s done, I’m chilling and redrawing Baron artwork.
Jealous. I’m in an art slump. Not happy with anything I draw, which might mean I’m on the cusp of a breakthrough…? But not counting on it.

Oof, yeah. I get that. I had that for a literal year once, then I started drawing again, and now I’ve been off and on. I’ll draw fervently for like a week or two usually, then hit art block for a little bit, then draw again, but currently I’ve been drawing at slow and fast paces for 2 months…I’m waiting for art block any minute now ?
Also, I think Lucy had grey eyes, correct me if wrong (and ignore section of rp)
Gabriel
When Lucy’s kitten grey eyes opened, Gabriel peered at her with a silent question, but didn’t push for an answer. He removed his hand, unsure what to do. The Fourth always comforted him after nightmares, but mostly just with his presence, the simple fact that the old man was there like an old oak tree for him, one he could go to again and again and rest under his shade. But Gabriel doubted he meant that to Lucy, he doubted he meant that to anyone. No, he was always…the voices screeched in his ears again. His hands flew to his ears, eyes squeezing shut. It hurt, his eardrums felt ready to burst.
Lucy said something, what, he didn’t know, but his mind snapped back to her, and the screeching died down, bac to its gargling. He removed his hands, opening his pale yellow eyes.
“Sorry, what did you say?”

Yes she does
Lucille
Lucy pointed at the empty place. Then, confused, she put her hand down. “I – I’ve got a… Are you hearing him?”

“Him?” The voices in Gabriel’s head sounded like many, their voices shrill like a withered banshee spirits, groping at his mind. “Are you hearing voices as well?” He hoped she wasn’t. He hated the voices. Every moment he felt himself wanting more and more to shout at them, even though he knew it would be in vain. He wanted to tell them to shut up and go away, but he couldn’t. Not in front of Lucy.

“I saw a man.” She spoke quieter than she intended, but struggled to turn up her voice’s volume. “He didn’t have a mouth, Gabriel, and now he’s gone. So how are you hearin’ him?”

“I…don’t hear a man’s voice. At least, I don’t think so. It’d have to be a strange one.” He shook his head. “It doesn’t matter. Try to sleep again if you can.”

Lucy thought about it. She swung off the bed and began rearranging the quilts and coverlet. “I’m awake now.”

Gabriel nodded, though he would prefer she slept more. “I assume we should continue then.” Gabriel stooped down and picked up a loose piece of twine he had missed on the floor from his earlier escapade. “I think I collected all your little things when you fell…Are you sure you don’t want to rest more? We aren’t going to come across many more beds once we leave this house I don’t think. And how do your arms feel?” His pale yellow eyes watched her movements, reddish brown eyebrows furrowed. He tried to see any sign of her hiding weakness or more fatigue, any warning sign.

Gabriel had a point, but the house held a certain uneasiness that Lucy couldn’t shake. She was already on her way out the door, but turned when he spoke. She tapped her forehead and flicked her hand, as if tipping an invisible cap. “We should go.”

Gabriel grabbed his mask, not yet putting it on, but letting it slide down until the red ribbon hung about his neck. He grabbed his bag, and Lucy’s hatchet, following her.
“Here.” He handed her the hatchet. “I’ll teach you how to use it later. If you’re going to carry something like that, you should know how to defend yourself.” The corner of his mouth twitched, as if amused by a fleeting thought.
They kept walking through the corridors, the smell of musty carpets starting to invade Gabriel’s nose occasionally, yet most the rugs looked dusted and clean. The voices continued to whisper their gurgled nonsense. Eventually, a line formed between Gabriel’s eyebrows, annoyed, angry at the sounds. He pulled his mask up, tightening the ribbon. Lucy didn’t need to see his face.

The hatchet had a new cover where it hadn’t before. Lucy smiled and held it to her face to smell the rich leather.
If she was honest, sleep still sounded good. But sitting around for long felt dangerous, like playing hide and seek and staying for too long in a poor hiding spot.
Wearily, she tried not to imagine the headless man walking behind her, his clothes stained dark with blood and ash, and his fingers trembling over his blue velvet sash. When the nightmare’s shadow caught up with her, she walked quicker, sticking to Gabriel’s heels.
The nap itself was good, though, and now she could walk. Lucy tried to pat down her mussed short hair. Her cowlick swirled stubbornly.
“Gabriel,” she said after a long time, when she felt somewhat better. “You and that mask have a… an on-and-off relationship. Is it uncomf… hm. Uncomfortable?”
