June 7, 2017 at 6:39 am #34375@dragon-snapper @perfectfifths @DaughterOfTheKing Okay, soooo…You might want to prepare yourselves, C. & H. lovers! Because I haven’t read any of those comics. Yes, a crime I know…BUT I LOVE Tintin. Does anyone here like Tintin? *looks around impatiently* 😛

June 7, 2017 at 7:12 am #34377@emily-d Pumps fist into the air excitedly because she can’t open the forum quick enough I LOVE TINTIN!! I love it more than Calvin and Hobbes!! I’ve got all the books except for the second one, Tintin in the Congo (its’ pretty hard to get, I think, because Herge was ashamed of it) including the unfinished Alph-Art. Have you seen the movie from 2012??
On another note about comics, does anyone like Asterix as well? Also a big favourite!

Sorry I’m late!! The only one I’ve really read much of is C&H, which I like. I have also read a minimal about of Tintin, which is probably for the best. (Not a fan.)
June 8, 2017 at 6:06 am #34444@perfectfifths Tintin is like THE BEST COMIC EVER. In the history of the world. *sighs* YES!!! We went to the cinema and saw the movie, it was hilarious. I’m in the process of collecting the series, and I so far have two (they’re very hard to find!) @holly-nelson-gray *shakes head* Tsk, tsk. Dear me! What WILL we do with you? 😛
Okay, so…this is a bit random, but while we’re on the subject of comics, who’s everyone’s favourite superhero? (Not parallel to Tintin, I know, but at least it’s something… :P) Guess who mine is… 😉

June 8, 2017 at 7:39 am #34446@emily-d Yeah, we saw it in cinemas on Boxing Day, I think it was 😀
Well, I’ve never read any superhero comics and I haven’t watched any of the superhero movies, but my favourite superhero is Batman. The only Batman movie I’ve seen is LEGO Batman, but watching that, I think I’m more interested in watching/reading/learning about him 😉
*makes a guess* Batman? 😛 XD

June 9, 2017 at 8:21 am #34491i dont really watch or read any super heros 😛
(plz dont gasp, ok?)June 9, 2017 at 8:55 am #34494@emily-d I think superheros that don’t have powers but have lots of cool gadgets are cooler than superheroes with the powers.

@louise-fowler I agree. I feel we can relate better to superheroes that don’t have powers. Its impossible to have powers, so how can we relate with what those that have powers are going through?

June 9, 2017 at 9:33 pm #34551@challenge Exactly, yes. It makes it that much more realistic (not that it’s very realistic anyway) XD
