August 29, 2017 at 5:31 am #42162@salome01w4g Yes they are all adorable…especially buckskins! π
@catwing Yeah, there’s a movie. It’s pretty cute, but my favourite horse movies are Black Beauty and The Black Stallion (based on the novel by Walter Farley)…must be something about black horses haha! πI tell my story. Not so that I get glory, but so that others may know Hope.

Hey there girls!
Question: Have any of you read/listened to any book (s) by Chuck Black or Sigmund Brouwer? π

November 1, 2017 at 6:26 am #50768@emily-d Hey, Emily. Yes, we have audio dramas of the Kingdom series, so we’ve listened to three or four of those. I’d like to read Chuck Black’s books. I don’t think I’ve heard of Sigmund Brouwer. What has he written?
Currently reading Les Miserables
November 1, 2017 at 9:11 am #50770@emily-d well I’ve heard of Chuck Blakc but I’ve never read any of his stuff, like Lousie, who is Sigmund Brouwer ?
~I donβt know what Iβm doing~
November 1, 2017 at 10:08 am #50777@emily-d No, I’ve never read any of Chuck Black’s books (I’m not much into fantasy). And like @salome01w4g and @perfectfifths, I’ve never heard of Sigmund Brouwer. What kind of stuff does Sigmund write? π

@emily-d Nope, I haven’t. Are they any good? I scarcely ever read fantasy. *grins sheepishly*
November 1, 2017 at 6:30 pm #50859@Louise Fowler I love cats, too!!! We have 6 of ’em π
November 1, 2017 at 6:32 pm #50860Just thought I’d ask… do any of ya Read Ted Dekker? π
November 1, 2017 at 6:40 pm #50865*ahem* Moving back to horses, have any of you seen Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron by Dreamworks? Iβve loved that movie ever since I was 4 and canβt seem to get tired of it, though Iβve grown out of my horse obsession of younger years.
Watch it. Just sayinβ.π°π»π¦π₯

@CK4always I read some of the comic versions before my family moved. I may read others after I get my library card.
@lady-iliara I haven’t watched it but I listen to it on Pandora. Perhaps I should. πIMMA KAPEEFER! Til we're old and gray!

@Anybody reading this who likes horses – Find Spirit: Stallion of the Cimmaron and watch it!
You can pronounce it however you want.
November 2, 2017 at 1:26 am #50981@dekreel @lady-iliara Spirit, I remember trailers of it, but I haven’t seen it. But I think it’s on Netflix, so we can.
Currently reading Les Miserables
November 2, 2017 at 4:48 pm #51092@Emily-d I have read Chuck Black. It was forever ago, and I remember liking them. He writes allegories to Biblical events and people. I read most all of his Kingdom Series.
I’ve heard of Sigmund Brouwer but have never read his books. Didn’t he write the Orphan King? If so I’ve heard that one’s good π
