The age after forever.
Would you fly if you knew you could fall?
November 6, 2017 at 12:40 pm #51738Here’s another one, hehe.
This is actually a quote I made, spoken by one of my favourite characters in my WIP
*vader vibes*
November 6, 2017 at 12:57 pm #51739Ah….@emily and @allison-grace, if you like the stealing quote so much, here’s some more like it:
“We’re the most technologically advanced space-ops team in the second quadrant, and we’re handing operation over to a 16-year-old hacker?”
“Actually, I’m 17, my birthday was three days ago. Thank you for noticing.”
“I wasn’t talking to you, hotshot.”
——————-
I don’t like vampires, but you could make this into a shape-shifter instead. It’s pretty funny.
“You can’t just turn into a bat and fly away when you don’t want to deal with things!”
“Watch me!”
————
“What’s the word for that horrible infestation of tiny creatures over there?”
“Kindergarten.”
——–
“Now if I can pick this lock–”
“Just poke a needle in there.”
“Thank you for your input, but I’m the world-class thief. When I need a janitor’s advice, I’ll ask for it.”
—-
A similar one..
“Just stick a needle in there–”
“Thanks, I know how locks work.”
—-
“I’m not stealing, I’m….relieving them of the burden.”
—-
“This isn’t my first time dealing with people like you.”
“Really? You’ve dealt with rampaging mutants before? Please, tell me their names. Maybe we can meet up for tea and biscuits.”
—–
I’m tired of fighting.
For once, I want to be fought for.

And, one of my absolute favourites:

November 6, 2017 at 12:59 pm #51740Awe, the image wouldn’t work. Fine, I’ll just type it.
From underneath the rubble, sing a rebel song.Â

November 6, 2017 at 1:47 pm #51741I love this thread!! I’ve got a thingy too.
It’s been three years since my stepsister disappeared. The day after the ball, the only thing anyone talked about was the beautiful mystery girl that had captured the princess’s heart. He would stop at nothing to find her, they said. He was traveling around the kingdom as we speak, looking for her. And, ridiculous as it sounded, his only clue was a glass slipper that she had left behind.
I remember when he knocked on our door, famous glass slipper in hand. I tried it on, even though I knew it would never fit me. My sister tired, and it almost fit, too, but it was just a bit too big. “We should let Ella try it on!” she said jokingly. My mother said no, a bit too hastily I thought, but the prince said he must try the slipper on every maiden in the land. It was all I could do to keep from laughing. Ella, dancing at a ball? What a silly thought! But the prince insisted, and Mother sent me to find my stepsister. But she was gone. We looked everywhere, but no sign of her. We’ve been looking for years, but she never came back.
And as strange as it sounds, I think that slipper would have fit her.
The prince is still single, and due to be crowned king within the week. He must choose a queen before that time, it’s the law. My sister and mother would think I’m crazy, but I know I must find Ella. She, somehow, stole the prince’s heart that night, and I only have a few days to find the prince’s true love.
