So, I’m not sure if I’m putting this in the right place, but here goes.
how would Y’all explain a tattoo on a character who lives almost completely off grid? I’ve been illustrating my Character Leo with one, then realized idk how the heck she would’ve gotten it 😐

Ah well there are very painful primetive tattoes, using a sharpened stick thingy and hitting the end lightly with a hammer. The stick is dipped in ink, and when hit with the hammer, pokes the person skin a little bit (It’s just a tap, I don’t think it goes super deep) I don’t know a whole lot about it, but I know that tattoes like this have existed and it’s what different cultures used before tattoo pens were a thing.
"And so I left this world just as I had entered it. Confused."
yeah, I’ve seen those. I also did a little research (partly from Jungle Cruise) and there is this paint stuff that almost permanently stains your skin, so I was thinking I’d do something like that, but idk
