Hi, everyone! I’m Luke from North Alabama. I am majoring in computer science/engineering. I am not big into writing, but I have written some Action/Adventure stories as a tween, most of them not so great.

@Daeus, no, I haven’t written much lately and I haven’t fully regained the interest to write books. College takes up a lot of my time, and I am taking World Literature I this semester, so I’ll be writing for that. I’m more of a visual person, so film-making has been more of a interest to me, but I have had little success in finding a like-minded crew nor do I have much experience in that field. 🙁oooh, film is cool. I wish I could do that too.

@luke-c Welcome. It doesn’t matter that you’ve not written much and that it’s not great. A lot of us are only starting. And film making is great too. There are many people who will watch a movie, but not read a book.
@daeus I’ve got an older brother who does writing and software engineering. Also I was just noticing earlier how female dominated Kingdom Pen is. Maybe I should suggest that my little brother who write joins.Welcome, @luke-c! It’s the sad truth, @daeus is pretty much the only active writer on the male side here. Not sure how that happened… But as a female who tries to write from a male pov, it’s nice to be able to get input from other men and, anyway…here https://kingdompen.org/forums/topic/men-verses-woman/ *thrusts link at you* Daeus has been a great help, and I wondered if you might have anything to add.

@hope I don’t know; I don’t really consider myself an expert on the male mind. :p Most of what I can think of is already tooted in conservative circles.
@rolena-hatfield Very little: As a kid, I put together a slideshow or two of two cats with subtitles that had an annoying song which was probably not appropriate for children. Then when I and some friends were close to graduating from high school, we tried to put together a Sherlock Holmes themed short film, but we never finished it. I did a little bit of script editing on that project and played the villain.Welcome @Luke-C!
