How dark is too dark?

yeah that’s hard.

I would just encourage her to talk to her parents about it. Maybe just gently talk to her about your concerns? She might (and will probably) get defensive, but still it’s worth a shot if you care about her that much.

I’m not the best at giving advice, sorry! But I’ll pray for you and for her <3

is it too dark??

I’m being legit…cuz now I’m scared…

not to take the focus off Whaley but all these concerns about stories being dark has got me paranoid

Look girl, you stay confident and keep writing, okay? 😊 Once upon a time, each of us probably had a dark phase, and may still be going through it. Maybe your story started that way, but now, you seem very self-aware of how your story might be perceived. You’re thinking carefully about everything you add.

I believe Sara can write about anything well, if she gives herself the chance.

That’s good…

I just feel bad because I’m 14 and idk what’s wrong with me…like why am I thinking of all these dark things?!?

I know I always come across as more mature, most people think I’m at least 16…and I don’t mentally feel 14.

But still…no matter how I feel my age doesn’t change…

I’m having a mental crisis *sobbing*

I mean, I’ve had my charries go through some violent things. I always joked that if I used a character from an estalished story for a fanfic, he would end up with some missing limb or horrific scar that he didn’t have in canon by the end of it (and looking back on most of my borrowed MCs so far, it’s a disturbing amount of true XD)
