My name is Moriah. I’m a twenty years old homeschool graduate who calls North Carolina home.
Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve loved to write. At the beginning of this year, I became a Young Writer’s Workshop Member. That’s how I learned of Kingdom Pen.
That was also when I rediscovered a love for blogging and photography. I mingle these pursuits here:
Welcome, friend!I’m looking forward to growing and learning and being a part of the Kingdom Pen Community!!
April 14, 2017 at 4:17 pm #30544Hello Moriah! Welcome to the bestistest place on the internet! I’m so glad you decided to join Kingdom’s Pen!
I clicked on the link to your website and saw that said that you have taken photos in Uganda, Africa! That is really cool! I’ve actually been to Malawi, Africa last summer on a mission trip.
What kinds of things do you like to write about? What are your favorite things to take pictures of? People? Places? Scenery? Do you like doing black and white photography, or do you prefer color?
Again, welcome to Kingdom’s Pen! Hope to see you around!

April 14, 2017 at 5:28 pm #30552@MoriahS Hello there, fellow North Carolinian! Welcome to KP! What are your favorite books? 😀
April 14, 2017 at 7:09 pm #30566Thank you @DelightinLife for making me feel so welcome. 😀
Oh, that’s so neat that you have visited East Africa too!
What did you do while on your mission trip? Was there a certain food you enjoyed? Fresh mango was my favorite. 😉
I love to write historical fiction. I’m actually working on a One Year Adventure Novel set during WWII.
Non-fiction is also fun. I’ve written a few posts on the Rebelution. As far as photography goes, I prefer color and taking pictures of nature: Sunsets, Flowers, Rivers, Brooks, Waterfalls…things like that! The most adventurous photography opportunity I was able to have was on a safari at the end of my last trip to Uganda. There were crocs, elephants, giraffes, baboons, hippos, and warthogs to name a few.

April 14, 2017 at 9:16 pm #30621Hello, @Moriahs ! Welcome to KP.
I love photography as well, but all the pictures I take are off of my phone…
Erm, unique question that no one has asked you yet… *thinks very carefully* What’s your favorite movie?

April 14, 2017 at 9:23 pm #30628@Jess Hmmm…favorite books. I have many 😉 In Historical Fiction, I have really enjoyed Hand of Vengeance and The Crown and Covenant Trilogy by Douglas Bond. Non-fiction: One Thousand Gifts and Kisses from Katie Also, I just finished This Changes Everything: How the Gospel Transforms the Teen Years by Jaquelle Crowe. It is an excellent read! 😀
