I’m DaughterOfGod37. I’m starting my freshman year of high school this fall (yikes!) but right now I’m just enjoying my summer by spending time with my two sisters (who are my best friends), playing with my crazy cats and sweet dog, practicing tap, reading or writing. I’m excited to join this forum and I hope to learn a lot about writing from you amazing fellow authors in Christ!

@eaw24. Hey Girl! Welcome to Kingdom Pen! I am FreedomWriter76, a Christian, Homeschooled teen that has a passion for spreading the light of Christ through Historical Fiction! I’m a huge History and Marvel nerd and all in all a weirdo. XD (And funny, I’m going to be a freshman in the fall too! XD)

As is customary for us on Kingdom Pen to welcome Newcomers with questions, I’m gonna ask you a few! 😉

        1. What’s your favorite book?

        2. What’s your WIP(work in progress) about?

        3. What’s your favorite book genre?

        4. Do you have any favorite movies/TV Shows/Series?

        5. Coffee or Tea? (Sweet Tea for me. I’m a Southern Girl through and through. XD)

        And…6. What’s your favorite dessert?

Anyhow! It’s been a pleasure meeting you, welcoming you, and I can’t wait to talk to you some more! God Bless! 🙂 <3

Hi FreedomWriter76! Thanks for welcoming me! That’s so cool that you let your light shine through historical fiction 🙂 I’m pretty weird too, and although I’ve only watched a couple of Marvel movies (fine…2), I want to become a Marvel Nerd.

          1. My favorite book is probably The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe by C. S. Lewis, although I’m one of those readers whose favorite book is the one they just read (and I just read the book Black Brother, Black Brother by Jewell Parker Rhodes – it was pretty good!)

          2. I just finished a short story and I think that for now, I’m going to focus on writing short stories so I can practice finishing them before I move on to a novel. By the way, have you received the KP Newsletter with this month’s short story picture prompt? I haven’t gotten it yet.

          3. I can’t choose!! I used to read mostly only historical fiction, but since then I’ve tried some mystery, realistic fiction, and fantasy and now I just love them all 🙂

          4. My sisters and I always watch Full House together, so I’d say that show has a special place in my heart.

          5. I never really drink either!

          6. I love No-Bakes!

Thanks again for the welcome questions! It’s been a pleasure meeting you too 🙂

@eaw24. You’re Very Welcome! I love all your answers! 😀 I used to not really even like Marvel, lol. But now I’ve watched all 3 Captain America movies, (he’s my favorite, so…XD) 3 of the Avengers movies, (all except the first one. XD) Black Panther, and the Disney+ Show Falcon and The Winter Soldier. 😉 Bucky’s my second fav, followed by Clint Barton. Which 2 Marvel movies have you watched? 🙂

I only recently read The Lion, the Witch, and The Wardrobe. XD I want to read the others, but my library only has digital versions! I like holding books in my hands! Is C.S. Lewis your favorite author, or someone else? As of recently, my favorite Author is Sarah Sundin. I’m reading her Sunrise at Normandy series. Historical Romance, I’ve read the first and currently reading the second, and now I’m hooked. XD

All genres are good, but Historical Fiction always holds a special place in my heart. 😉 It really depends more on the book though. Not the genre. Agreed?

I have not gotten the newsletter yet! I don’t think they’ve sent it out yet, but it should be before too long, I would think. 😉

If you ever want to chat, I’m *almost* always available! 🙂

Thanks! Oh cool! I’ve watched Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange (the first one). So far, my favorite’s Spider-Man. Do you have any recommendations as to which movie I should watch next? 🙂

I would definitely recommend reading the others whenever you get the chance! Although, I still haven’t read books 6 and 7 in the series yet. Yes, I think he’s probably my favorite author right now. I’ll have to look into her books! I really enjoy reading books set in the WWII era. Speaking of which, I would totally recommend In Alexa’s Shoes by Rochelle Alexandra.

I definitely agree! Praise God for such a vast variety of types of stories to read and write! 🙂

Okay, thanks. I’ll keep an eye out for it 🙂

Okay, thank you – same here!

@eaw24. Oh yes, I highly recommend Sarah Sundin. 😉 I’ll have to check that book out!

                Yes. Praise God. <3

                You’re welcome!

Well…that’s funny. I haven’t watched either of those. XD (I don’t really like Doctor Strange though and Spider-Man isn’t one of my top favorites…) Well…the Infinity Saga started with Iron Man, but since I haven’t watched that one either…now, I’m biased, but I would probably either recommend The Avengers or Captain America: The First Avenger. (But Steve’s my fav, so…I’m very biased. XD) But if you wanna start at the beginning, Iron Man. (I haven’t watched all of The Avengers, only parts, but if you don’t want to get super confused, I’d still recommend it. And from what I did see, it’s great!) But yeah. I’d probably recommend The Avengers or Captain America: The First Avenger. But Captain America: The First Avenger was the first Marvel movie I watched, and it’s still my favorite of all of them. 😉 But honestly…just whatever movie you want to watch! (Just don’t start in the middle…you’ll get very confused. XD) But anyways, those are my biggest recommendations! 😉

@eaw24 You have provoked the attention of the Black Mongoose. Though this act in all likelihood was unpremeditated (All you did was post a short introductory bio regarding oneself) and based off of the directions given regarding the proper behavior of an individual lately enlisted in the KP corps, I have come to the conclusion that it has been a great while since me, myself, and I have greeted an untried rookie (This is phrased in such a way that implies I myself have some experience, but beware. Implications, intimations, and indications can be deceptive.), therefore I deem it necessary to do so promptly. Salutations

You will love what you spend time with.

@freedomwriter76. Haha, that is funny. I didn’t really like Doctor Strange either, though I did enjoy the Spider-Man movie. Thanks for the recommendations – I’ll have to keep them in mind for the next time I watch a Marvel movie!

. Hi Black Mongoose! Though provoking your attention was in fact unpremeditated, it’s nice to meet you 🙂
