Hi everyone! 😀 I’m glad to be on here! My username, Cahndida Serkhaman, is the name of a character I made up. On the OYAN forum my username is Stardust. (Don’t know how many people on here are OYANers but whatever…) Lets see if I can remember to call myself by the right username… 😛
I love writing and one of my poems is soon to be published on the KP website. 🙂 I also love singing, archery, and basketball. Still trying to figure out how to work this forum, so if you have any pointers for me, I would appreciate it. 🙂

Ah, a poet poet poet. As to this forum, it is like the pine covered mountain tops in which the eagles nest. Scouts gaze from on it. They say, “There, the beryl lakes, smiling like enchanting eyes. There the scattered villages: Thatched castled kinsman love. There the secret wilderness, waiting waiting waiting us to come.”
Needless to say, that is just another way of saying this place is bestistest.

So how should I use this forum? Do you all use it to ask for critiques or ideas or what? 🙂Well, the busiest part of the forum is the General Writing Discussions page— and it’s just that, a page for the discussion of writing in general. Villains, character arcs, good words, description, dialogue— you name it. We can also have more genre-based discussions in the Fiction forum.
Critiquing questions (and excerpts) can be posted for feedback in the Novel Critiques section of the fiction forum, and all the other pages are for discussion as marked— poetry, short stories, art, etc.Anything really. Sometimes we ask for critiques. I just did a random survey on speed reading. We talk a lot about how to write better (characters, sentences, plots, etc.). We steal genius. We chat. Sometimes we play games. Really, do almost whatever you want.
