Hey there Adora! Love you’re name by the way! So glad you found the forum 🙂
Oh I had a friend who was adopted from Romania! She’s training to be a professional ice skater. What are you reading in your profile pic? It looks good cause you’re completely engrossed. 😀https://rolenahatfield.com/
October 14, 2016 at 4:13 am #19221@SleepwalkingMK That’s so cool! I love working with children. What kinds of things do you do with them?
@daeus Did the emojis change for you too? I thought it was just my device being weird, but maybe not.
@kate-flournoy I haven’t read Henry the Fourth. Is it as good as Henry the Fifth? Our library actually had a film of Henry the Fifth, which stuck word-for-word to the script, and I really liked it. Have you seen it?October 15, 2016 at 11:15 am #19260@rebelutoinary Cool, thanks 🙂 Which Chronicle of Narnia is your favorite?
@emma-flournoy Thanks, I’m glad 😉
@dragon-snapper Me and My Cello is so sweet/hilarious! It’s so hard to pick a favorite song. Waterfall is so nice… I’d love to be able to play it someday. Wow, that novel sounds cool! I wish you well in your writing! 🙂
@christi-eaton Thanks 🙂Read to explore worlds, write to create them.
October 15, 2016 at 11:48 am #19261Hey Adora! Welcome from a fellow revivian!
Piano guys are great, aren’t they? I listen to them all the time.October 16, 2016 at 5:13 pm #19326@sleepwalkingMK
It seems that I need to read Henry V and the other historical Shakespeare plays. 😉 What are all the Shakespeare plays you’ve read? I’ve read Julius Caesar, Macbeth, Much Ado About Nothing, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. 🙂October 17, 2016 at 4:10 am #19348@gretald Somehow I missed Much Ado About Nothing. What is that one about?
October 17, 2016 at 5:51 am #19353@sleepwalkingMK, ooooo! Romania. We served as missionaries in Papua New Guinea! 🙂
Welcome to the forum! 🙂

Ohh, I haven’t read “Much Ado About Nothing” in a while, but I remember really loving it. It’s a comedy, so it’s a bit more light-hearted than some of his other plays (unlike Macbeth and the other tragedies). 🙂 I remember that there are a bunch of pranks and tricks that the characters play on each other. The title really says it all–that the characters make a big deal about the pranks when, really, they’re making a big deal about nothing. Sorry, I wish I could give you a better summary. I need to read it again. But I would recommend it if you’re looking for more Shakespeare to read! 😀 What are your favorite plays?October 17, 2016 at 10:33 am #19362@sleepwalkingMK Welcome! I’m an MK too. But I was born and raised in the Philippines so I never experienced the shock of a new culture (except for when I visit the US). Hope you are able to use this forum to its fullest potential. My writing and my stories have gotten better just by applying some of the things I learned within this forum. Also, we come at it with a Christian worldview which is probably the biggest advantage. Have a great day!

October 18, 2016 at 2:49 am #19463@gretald Haha! That sound worth reading. My favorite is Henry V, mostly because of Pistol and the Welshman. And it has a happy ending, unlike the tragedies. I know Hamlet was supposed to be sad, but I thought it was very funny. It’s probably my second to favorite one.
October 26, 2016 at 3:43 am #19854@rolena-hatfield Thanks 🙂 Oh, that’s so cool! Haha, I’m reading The Horse and His Boy, my favorite book in my favorite series ever 😀
@sarah-h I help my parents with the Kids’ Program, which does things like Sunday School, VBS, camps, and other activities. I’m in charge of a little library; so I have a box or bag filled with books, and the kids come to me to get or return books.
@the-bean Thanks! Yeah, they are… I’m addicted 🙂
@gretald I’ve read Julius Caesar, Macbeth, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Richard III (ugh…), and Henry V. Yeah, Henry V is pretty good, and there’s a film done by Kenneth Branagh that I like about it. It’s just like the play, except there are some sections cut out.
@clairec Oh, cool! Haha, I will. 🙂
@mark-kamibaya Cool, another MK 😀 I see what you mean. I’ve only been here two years, but will probably not go back for another three years, except a visit. I guess I’ll still have a big transition, even though I grew up in the U.S. What work does your family do in the Philippines? Thanks for the advice 🙂Read to explore worlds, write to create them.
