Kinda taking a step back and not making writing such a huge, huge focus this year, learning how to slow down and enjoy the stage of life I’m in rn :3
Yeah, it’s more important to take a break if you need to and focus on things like relationships and personal growth. That’s why, even though I’m more capable of writing a whole novel in a month than I used to be, I don’t feel like it’s necessary.

in other news, I finished a fanfic for once, which has a new story universe with 12 different sentient species. Plus I invented a boatload of dragons for a How To Train Your Dragon-esque thing I came up with where the people are based off people I know and the dragons are fictional characters
