@sarafini
What about you:
What’s your WIP/WIPs about?
Have you completed a full novel? If so, how long?
Have you been published anywhere? Even if it’s just a poem, article, short story, or blog? This girl is armed with books, coffee, and writing accoutrements!
March 8, 2023 at 4:26 pm #136098Thank you! Some people are shocked when they find out I write in that genre, but what can I say? This girl loves writing that! 😄
Beluga Whales. They’re so playful.
My favorite part is that I can do basically whatever I want. There’s hardly any rules (though sometimes that drives me nuts)
Esther. She’s courageous and inspiring
What about you?
I’m glad to be here! This girl is armed with books, coffee, and writing accoutrements!
March 8, 2023 at 4:28 pm #136101I’m currently working on articles for my blog and a story about a author and a private eye in NYC. I prefer novels; they give you room to expand. You?

March 8, 2023 at 4:30 pm #136102That sounds like fun! I’ve also got contemporary romance ideas, but so far they’re kind of flat. I need to spice them up without having a bunch of crime involved.

March 8, 2023 at 4:34 pm #136107@light-warrior-pen I like novels, but short stories are quicker and easier to finish, lol.
Lately, it's been on my brain
Would you mind letting me know

Wow, we do!Which of your characters would you choose to meet in real life? Either Secret Agent Angel O’Haven, Pastor Timothy Baker, General Scotwot, or Ara von Stargazer. The last two are in my sci-fi book. General Scotwot is a Scottie dog.
How long have you been writing? Almost 2 1/2 years.
Are your characters based on real people? Rarely; I’m terrible at copying people in my stories. But I do put people’s experiences and stories in my books.
Favorite T.V. show? Sue Thomas: F.B.EyeWhat about you?

March 8, 2023 at 4:37 pm #136111Do you enjoy worldbuilding? If so, hard or soft? A mixture of both. I need some structure, but I’d also like to have room for the unusual.
What do you do to avoid cheesiness in your romances? Avoid cliches at all costs and never use TV shows as my guide. There’s some things that only work on a screen, but sound awful on paper.

Better (JJ Heller) The House You’re Building (Audrey Assad) If We’re Honest Deluxe edition (Francesca Battistelli) The Healer (Casting Crowns) Nights From the Alhambra (Loreena McKennitt)

Favorite movies or tv shows? Pride and Prejudice, starring Colin Firth. Granite Flats. Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye
If you could make any activity an Olympic sport, what would you have a good chance of winning a medal for? Nothing. I’m terrible at sports.

Cool! They sound like really fun characters! Aww I LOVE Scottish Terriers! ❤
I’d probably choose Asher, (he’s the character that reminds me of my brother). Or…maybe Dylan. He’s one of my favorites ❤.
Almost 2 1/2 years.
Oh wow!! I’ve been writing for almost 2 years.
Rarely; I’m terrible at copying people in my stories. But I do put people’s experiences and stories in my books.
Haha, yeah I get that. Actually a few of mine are! One of my characters is like a carbon copy of my brother, Lol, just a bit older tho. Another is one of my good friends as a character.

Oh cool! I think I’ve heard of that before. Mine is probably Obi One Kenobi, or Rings of Power.

Adorable!! I love dogs, obviously. 😜 Cuz a lot of them are super cute and just, well, awesome! XD

Cool! When I do write fantasy, I like it because I get to create a whole new world that can either be similar, or completely different to ours! 🙂
Esther. She’s courageous and inspiring
I love her too!! And more than just because she shares my name. 😜 She’s super cool! Her trust in God is really inspiring!

March 10, 2023 at 12:27 am #136306Hello, fellow word enthusiast 🙂 I’m Naia, a college student and tutor who likes rainy days. I’ve written poetry for quite a long time, but I’m venturing out into the world of story, too.
Glad you’re here! Random get-to-know-you question: What’s the most thought-provoking thing you encountered this week–be it idea, concept, sight, sound, etc.?
I have a ton of notebooks
Also, if this isn’t the most relatable thing I’ve heard all day…!
March 10, 2023 at 1:48 pm #136321Ooo, that sounds awesome! Their songs are so thought provoking and honest. Their album Only Jesus is one of the best.
