Hi! I’m Joy Caroline, and I’m so glad to see you’ve joined the forum 🙂
That’s cool you like fantasy, we have plenty of fantasy writers on here! I myself am a Biblical fiction writer, and I’m working on two novels. They’re both about St. Paul, one from his younger sister’s POV and the other from his youngest nephew’s POV. I would love to hear about any writing projects you’ve got going on!
Some questions:
1. What’s your WIP about? (I kind of already asked that, lol.)
2. What’s your favorite book of all time? Mine is To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, which is an absolute must-read! My second favorite is quickly becoming Les Misérables by Victor Hugo, which I am reading right now and it is INSANELY good.
3. What kind of music do you listen to? I can’t list all mine, it would be too long XD. I am a passionate lover of music. My favorites include: The Hoppers, Christian Edition, Gaither Vocal Band, Bethel, Elevation, Faouzia, Whitney Houston, The Prince of Egypt… the list goes on!
4. Favorite dessert? Mine is tiramisu. It’s TO. DIE. FOR.

my current book I am writing about is called The War of the Two Worlds. It’s about a girl named Ravial, she has special powers, she can fly and draw. Her land was invaded By the Keepers who once owned a island across the dark sea. her father was killed protecting his family against one of them trying to invade there home when Ravial was four. So, she builds a army of her own, and finds a friend in a boy named Lochner, together they embark on a amazing journey to send the wretched  Keepers back to there own miserable island!
well, I am gluten free, so sadly foods are a limited thing🥺 but I love Kansas dirt cake! Thank goodness Oreo brand came out with GF Oreos! And they taste almost exactly like regular! So that was exciting!
NAY! no pineapple on my pizza!! I love pineapple by its self, but putting it on pizzza?? Pineapple, you have gone to far:)
well, I live on a farm, I have a temperamental pony, (she has a thing for throwing people off, believe me… sadly, I know from experience;( ) but I love the go down to the barn. And I make candles.

oh my!! I love books, but my fav of all time is the door within trilogy by Wayne Thomas Batson. His books are amazing! I love all of his books!
I love the Gaither band! My mother would listen to the Gaither band all day!
I like the Servers, they are a lot like Gaither vocal band, I love Skye Peterson’s songs, my fav is, Tell me Again. All her music is so pretty!I have never heard of that kind of dessert! But it sounds good!

Thanks! I really need to branch out in the fantasy department. I don’t read as much of it as I’d like to, especially with there being so many awesome fantasy writers on KP. Your WIP sounds so cool! Ravial is already a character I would love to get to know. And I love to draw, too.
I can’t wait to see how Les Misérables turns out. I totally have to watch the musical after I finish the book. I’ll have to look up your recommendations!
Awesome! *virtual high five* Gaither Vocal Band is the best Christian music. I’m gonna search Skye Peterson right now, cause I’m always looking for new music. I did formerly play the piano, but quit and so am not very good 😂 Harmonica is SUCH a cool instrument!
Tiramisu is an Italian dessert. It’s very creamy and soft and has a delicious coffee taste. Mmmm! I haven’t had Kansas dirt cake but would love to try it!

Is it stealing if I take a name from someone else’s book and use it for my own? because Ravial is off of Chuck Blacks novel Nova and Flight. But it was such a beautiful name I couldn’t resist!!😂kansas dirt cake is VERY good! It is made of crushed Oreos and a vanilla putting, like I said VERY good!!

I love to play the piano too! I have this beautiful sheet music it’s called Welcome to Wonderland, it’s really pretty! I got it off of sheet music direct.
do you have any problems with character names? I always have problems with those! I can never think of any! So if you have any ideas then please say them!😂

Oh yeah, character names. I didn’t name my MC until like 3 years in, haha…I like using NameBerry! It’s got lots of nice filters for finding names…and also Pinterest. Pinterest names. And Wikipedia as well.

You live on a farm too? *high five* and *second high five for owning a temperamental pony XD *. Well, she’s pretty good actually, but whenever I want to ride one way, she decides another way is better. That and she is apparently fond of ducking under trees with very low hanging branches (this trick only gets her 50/50 success XD ). What type of tricks does your pony favor? Ooh, what its name? (I love hearing about other peoples equines:)Your WIP sounds SO amazing, I love the name Ravial btw:)
