@juliawrites4christ Ooh, your WIP sounds cool! I write historical fiction too. I’m fifteen, and I have three sisters. How old are you, and how many siblings do you have? Do you like listening to music? 🙂

April 1, 2018 at 12:08 pm #69741@dekreel, Lynn Austin writes historical fiction/romance novels. Some of them can be a little mature, so I have to be careful of which ones I read at this time. But she inspires me to write long books that aren’t completely boring.
@rochellaine, I’m not really sure yet. I like 1700s and 1800s, I think. What about you?Could someone please explain the ranking? I’m a little confused. Thanks! 😀

April 3, 2018 at 1:49 pm #69978@daughteroftheking, (love your username!) I really like the story aspect of writing. I love how alive the characters seem in my mind and imagination. It’s so much fun to see where God takes me through my writing!
@supermonkey42, Thank you! Yes, The Silver Chair is awesome! I love the so-called Gentle Giants part.
@skredder, Thank you! I’ve been playing for 6 or 6 1/2 years. Do you play?April 3, 2018 at 2:52 pm #69981Hey there! I’m a little late to the party…sorry about that!

April 3, 2018 at 4:13 pm #69986@that_writer_girl_99, Hi, Elizabeth! I play piano mainly, but I’ve also played recorder and a little guitar. 🙂
April 3, 2018 at 4:55 pm #69988@juliawrites4christ Is there anything in particular about the 1700s and 1800s you like?
My favorite period is even more modern history: American, from about 1900-1970.

April 4, 2018 at 1:55 pm #70075@juliawrites4christ Thank you! I love creating characters too. It’s fun when they take on a life of their own, even if they get stubborn and decide to change the plot. 😛

April 5, 2018 at 8:25 pm #70161@rochellaine, cool! I really like the 1700s and 1800s for a couple reasons: 1) I really like American history. I haven’t written anything “historical” exactly, but I would like to. My next novel will probably be Civil War. (That’s the plan, at least.) 2) I like old fashioned times, where women wore dresses all the time. I actually tried writing my WIP in the after WW2 TP (time period), but it was too modern for me, or at least for this book. 🙂
