@leon-fleming That all sounds really cool.
You’re gonna have to elaborate on what you mean by calligraphy, printed, and paper.

If hours don't turn into daysMay 17, 2020 at 5:15 pm #81770@devastate-lasting Thanks; by “calligraphy”, I mean calligraphy. By “printed” I meant handwritten. And by “paper” I meant handwritten on paper.
May 17, 2020 at 5:15 pm #81771Or whatever kinds of material they use to write with.
May 17, 2020 at 5:53 pm #81773@leon-fleming My grandparents actually used to do this for my parents’ wedding my grandfather did one of one of the verses from Corinthians I think… Anyway the ones in our house are all on cloth/canvas, but generally paper works too I think. Also stone. Carved in stone is cool.

If hours don't turn into daysMay 17, 2020 at 6:16 pm #81775My mistake. Upon closer inspection, it’s actually all on thick paper which is them glued onto cloth.

If hours don't turn into daysMay 17, 2020 at 7:35 pm #81777@devastate-lasting That. Is. Cool. Yes! Carven on stone is especially archaic.
May 17, 2020 at 7:36 pm #81778@leon-fleming You have any summer writing plans?

If hours don't turn into daysMay 17, 2020 at 7:45 pm #81783@devastate-lasting Yes, actually. At the moment I’m writing an estimated 300-page epic poem centered in my fantasy world. As of now it’s called The Lay of the West, and is separated into three parts. I finished writing the first part and one section of the second part (one section = ten pages), but I had to take a brake: I’m working for my Dad on a job with lots of digging. But we finished most of the digging last week, so I’m hoping to not be too tired out to write at least five to six sections this week. I’ll be finishing the first draft sometime next month, and afterwards I’ll go into the next drafts (there’re five, I think). I’ll be ending sometime in September. Then I’m planning on writing a second Epic Lay of roughly the same length in November for a NaNoWriMo thing on Goodreads. Between those times, I’ll be centered working on my novel and fantasy world. I’ve been on a five-month brake from the outlining in order to boost the mythology, legends, languages, maps, and all that stuff which I’ve been needing to do for a while.
What about you?
May 17, 2020 at 8:03 pm #81786@leon-fleming Hopefully (fingers crossed) that there will be some time outside of test prep this summer (but I don’t have high hopes; I never get summer break) I want to finish rewriting (or at least mostly) the first five parts of my work and also maybe finish writing a shorter work that I’ve been working on. Also finish writing first drafts of two more parts of my work. And maybe start working on some music. But, yeah, I’m really busy. I never have time. Mainly all wishful thinking lol

If hours don't turn into daysMay 17, 2020 at 8:23 pm #81788@devastate-lasting That’s too bad about summer break. Are you in collage, or a year-round school thing?
Yeah, that sounds about right; what kind of music?
May 17, 2020 at 10:12 pm #81794@devastate-lasting @leon-fleming
Very thoughtful to outline that, Leon. I do know how to, but that’s okay anway. XD And the only reasons I didn’t were 1) my brain was fried for a ton of crazy reasons I won’t even try and describe to you, and 2) because of that I was crazy tired and I couldn’t even write, which I can almost always do under any circumstances.
😛
And your language conversation was pretty awesome, btw. They’re so fascinating to learn/study!

May 17, 2020 at 11:09 pm #81799@selah-chelyah Oh, that; that was more of an exercise for my brain. I’ve been wanting to see what’d look like in print.
Thank you. Are you into languages?

May 18, 2020 at 9:07 am #81807@leon-fleming I’m homeschooled, so it’s year round. I want to start making electronic/Vocaloid music.

Thanks. ::)
