I’m Emma. OYANers, you may know me as EtceteraBlue. And at long last I have made a KP account, because I am slow at…things.
So who am I? (No, not 24601.)
I um, like to write things. Big surprise, right? *snerk snerk* What do I write? It ranges. Greatly. I like story of many forms, and I am indecisive, a charming mix. I write quite a bit of poetry (my first poetry compilation is actually coming out later in the year, which is exciting.) And as an OYANer, I’ve been drawn into the world of novels. Speculative fiction, false utopias, intriguing surrealisms, character driven sci-fis and alternative historics- the weird stuff is the fabulous stuff. (or at least I tell myself this.)More on me. ME ME ME how self centric I am here.
Okay, well, I’m an INTP. Oooh, ‘funny’ story. A good example of this showing up in my everyday life was when my friend told me to write down my favorite aesthetics. She’s an INFP, which I think says enough for itself. Her list went something along the lines of ‘rain, kitten paws, old lace, wet dog noses, dead roses, handwritten notes, dusty teacups.’ I thought long and hard and here’s what I came up with: ‘full tape dispensers, worn out converse, National Geographic covers, the smell of fresh cut grass, well flowing pens and organized bookshelves.’ I thought this was quite poetic, but apparently tape dispensers are not naturally poetic things. Hmm.Aaaand I like reading. I like listening to music. I like journaling. And collecting quotes and papering my wall with them. And geeking out over a great deal of things.
I’ve also become more involved with TeenPact recently, which has been enjoyable. A steep learning curve, but a beneficial one.So there’s me. (I feel like I’m trying to create an elevator pitch for my EXISTENCE. Gracious. Obviously, I’m not very good at it, so if you want to get to know me, reading this may not be the best-est of ways to do so.) Oh well. I look forward to getting to know all you lovely peoples.
let us see. me on the web. Well, on OYAN I’m EtceteraBlue, like I said. On pinterest and tumblr, I’m LilacAmpersand. Peace out.
August 24, 2015 at 9:05 pm #4888Hi 10642,
Do you mean to say you are publishing your poetry in a book? That sounds great. I love poetry. By the way, if you happen to be an expert on writing with meter, I could use some help (see thread, “writing with meter”).
Glad you joined the discussion.

August 24, 2015 at 9:10 pm #4889Heyo. Yup, in a book. I mostly write free verse, and I’m not an expert on meter, but I am fairly comfortable with it, so I’ll check out the thread (probably in the morning though.)
Thank you. I’m glad as well. 🙂August 24, 2015 at 9:19 pm #4891Oh, an intelecjewel smartz human haz joined

August 29, 2015 at 7:21 pm #5209Your best friend is an INFP, you said? So am I! Although reading your lists, I kinda agree with both of you. I love organized bookshelves, rain, dead roses, handwritten notes, well-flowing pens, and the smell of fresh-cut grass. So maybe I’m not entirely INFP.
Anyways, glad to have you on the forum!August 29, 2015 at 7:31 pm #5211Well, one of my good friends is, yes. I don’t have a singular best friend. 😉
Well that’s lovely. All those things are. And I guess I should clarify how MBTI isn’t what you like, it’s a thought process (which often leads to liking certain things) but it was a funny example. xD So yeah. *high fives INFP person with cool avvie*Thanks. Glad to be here.
