@joisebeth Welcome, welcome, welcome! It’s great to have you aboard!
Are you reading anything right now?
"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."
February 8, 2018 at 10:18 pm #62884@josiebeth Hi! Welcome! I also write mainly contemporary fiction, but my other genres are sci-fi and historical fiction, rather than fantasy. 😀
I haven’t been in theater since I was very little, but I often sing before people and on stage (small stage). Do you like oldies? They’re my favorite.

@Skredder I’m not currently reading anything, but my to-read list this week is Mere Christianity, A Wrinkle in Time, and Fearless Writing.
@Rochellaine I don’t think I’ve seen any, but I’m trying to watch more shows.
@Kaya-Young Thank you!
@Daeus Yay! A cloak and dagger!February 9, 2018 at 1:10 pm #62922@joisebeth Oh, please read A Wrinkle in Time! I absolutely love that book and the series. I will admit, though, that my favorite in the series is A Swiftly Tilting Planet, maybe because I read it first. They are still so good. 🙂

February 9, 2018 at 1:20 pm #62923@joisebeth Yeah, I like old movies and tv shows, but I was actually talking about old songs. 😀 Singers like Doris Day, Dean Martin, and Judy Garland. Do you ever listen to the old songs from our grandparents’ time?

February 10, 2018 at 6:22 pm #63091@joisebeth Welcome to the bestistest place in the world! (hmm, seems I’ve been beaten to saying it)
I like to write Christian contemporary and fantasy too. I also like historical fiction.
what are your favorite books/movies?
I like music too. I’m guessing by your profile pic you play an instrument? I play piano and guitar. I LOVE music by Ludovico Einaudi and Helen Jane Long. What’s your favorite music?

www.jennaterese.comFebruary 10, 2018 at 9:51 pm #63123@Skredder It’s on my reading list for next week!
@Rochellaine Ohh! Yes, I do, actually. I’ve been listening to Ella Fitzgerald recently. 😀
@notawriter Thank you! I like K.M. Weiland and Lemony Snicket. Also — I have to ask about your username. XD
@introvert_girl Thanks! My favorite colors are all shades of pink, light purple, and teal, in that order. I don’t think I quite have a favorite character right now. Maybe Hermoine? (Gasp, controversial book.)
@Sam-Kowal Tell Stan I say hi. 😉
@Emma-Flournoy Thank you!
@Jenwriter17 Just by a little, haha. Nice! I like K.M. Weiland, Lemony Snicket… I’m working to expand my horizons, especially since I beta read a lot of books. I play ukulele and guitar, plus I sing. Ooh, I haven’t heard of them! I like a mix of pop, indie, rap, Latino, choral… depends on the day. My favorite artists are Cimorelli, Twenty One Pilots, and Bradley Knight (even though he’s technically a composer, I believe. I do a lot of his pieces in my church choir).- This reply was modified 6 years, 10 months ago by josiebeth.
February 10, 2018 at 11:12 pm #63144@josiebeth I love K. M. Weiland too! I’ve read her Outlining Your Novel, Structuring Your Novel, and Creating Character Arcs (and I use the workbooks). I haven’t actually read any of her fiction yet though.
If you like to read fantasy, Chuck Black and Robert Treskillard has some really good ones!
I always thought ukulele looked like a lot of fun. is it hard? is it mostly similar to guitar? I enjoy singing too (ahem, not around people that is 😉 )
