Hi all! Happy Easter!
He is Risen! And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
Matthew 28:5-7

April 16, 2017 at 3:17 pm #30722Hey, our sermon this morning was on that text.

April 16, 2017 at 5:58 pm #30723Happy Easter! (it was yesterday for me :P)
I got baptised yesterday! I’ve been wanting to do it for five years now."Not all who wander are lost."

@f5a8c3e92 That is amazing! Yay and amen! *hugs*April 16, 2017 at 6:09 pm #30727@feedingmygoldfish *tries to breathe as lungs are squeezed to breaking point* *awkwardly doesn’t know what to do with arms*

Wild Australian. INXJ.April 16, 2017 at 7:13 pm #30731@f5a8c3e92 *realizes that was really enthusiastic* *blushes* *embarrassed laugh* Oops. Sorry. I forget that some people aren’t super excited about hugs. (You said in your introduction post that you’re an INTJ, right?) For what it’s worth, I’ve been told I give really good hugs, though. 😛
April 16, 2017 at 9:08 pm #30745@feedingmygoldfish I’m definitely not the best with hugs but will allow it for a few people. A complete INTJ here. What type are you?

Wild Australian. INXJ.April 16, 2017 at 11:02 pm #30764@f5a8c3e92 I’m an INFJ, but I used to lean more towards a T and get borderline results. I still have a very strong logical side, though, and sometimes it’s at odds with my emotional side. 😛
April 16, 2017 at 11:09 pm #30765@feedingmygoldfish I’ve got INFJ friends and they’re very intelligent. The stereotype of F-types not being able to think logically is false. There’s also more of a difference between INTJ and INFJ than T or F, they both have different functions as well…

Wild Australian. INXJ.April 17, 2017 at 12:27 am #30769@f5a8c3e92 Very true. I’ve never taken the time to learn much about the functions for each type, but that is a good point…they do differ for the types.
April 17, 2017 at 11:52 am #30809@DRagon-Snapper Hallelujah, praise the Lord!
@f5a8c3e92 😂😂😂 THAT TOTALLY KILLED ME. I have know a girl who loves hugs, and every time, that is pretty much EXACTLY my response. Awkwardness. And how in the world is one supposed to known whether it’s a one or two arm hug? And how long it’s supposed to be? And I certainly don’t want to get out of it too soon and risk hurting someone’s feelings, but on the other hand… GET ME OUTTA THIS THING. *flails*INTJ ➸Your friendly neighborhood mastermind. ➸https://thesarcasticelf.wordpress.com/
April 17, 2017 at 1:27 pm #30849@f5a8c3e92 that’s splendid that you got baptized on Easter! Was it a coincidence or is that a tradition in your church? (In mine we had five people baptized on Palm Sunday — that was a lot of puddles on the floor afterward.)
Also, I’m INTP, but I totally sympathize about the hugs. My sister can climb all over me, but she’s about the only one. What’s really awkward is at living-history events, where hugs are a normal form of greeting (at least in my group) for just about everybody you meet — up to and including unrelated men, most of whom are fighters and therefore sweaty.

April 17, 2017 at 5:32 pm #30880@ethryndal I know, right? Hugs are so confusing.
@northerner They happened to be doing it this year, and I had decided the week before to just go for it. I’ve missed five years’ worth of opportunities already and I had really wanted to do it. Hugs are a nightmare for me. As a greeting? I would die on the spot! 😛"Not all who wander are lost."
