      Could laser beams be deflected by mirrors?

          Daeus, – Daniel#2. No, a mirror can be used to reflect tiny semiconductor lasers in cd and DVD readers, but high energy high frequency lasers would destroy any materials that come in their path with radiation. Low frequency infrared lasers would just melt through it.

          Hope, actually, a very strong very dense shield could absorb a few shots from an infrared laser, but gamma lasers would still be too radioactive to be stopped by anything.
