Hopefully not? But right now…maybe.
*Deep sigh of weariness*
Life is nuts right now. So yeah, it might take something kinda out there to stop my in my hamster wheel of days.
I should be back to something like normal in…two weeks?

April 30, 2025 at 12:04 pm #202188well then, prepare for impact. 🤣
Collage I’m guessing? Or is your semester over already?

Yeah, entering finals and graduation, then transferring to a university for next fall.

April 30, 2025 at 12:48 pm #202206Wow. That was rough.
Poor Aelic. ðŸ˜
(I’m wondering what’s happening to Aiden now that Martin believed and died too. It would have been tough to see his brother and his cousin killed like that.)

April 30, 2025 at 1:04 pm #202210Ooo yay! Graduation!

April 30, 2025 at 1:06 pm #202211It’s close enough to commute, about 40 minutes one way (so not amazing, but not bad).

April 30, 2025 at 1:07 pm #202212I know poor Aelic. This is my fourth time though that scene as a draft, (read it several times just for fun) and it still gets me. Ugh.

I know!!! The poor kid! 😱
Guess we’ll never know. Hopefully God used it to reach out to him and open his eyes.
At least Martin made the right choice. Now THAT would be terrifying. He’s literally going to die the minute he chooses to believe, and he’s got to decide to take the plunge and trust that God is real. I would argue his death scene was the most frightening one I’ve written.

Is your sister going with you?

April 30, 2025 at 1:08 pm #202214I’m not surprised.
Yeah, I hope so. Oh my goodness, yes, Martin was so brave.

April 30, 2025 at 1:11 pm #202216My older sister is a graduate student there, so yes, but no, my twin is going somewhere else.
*Mournful sigh*

April 30, 2025 at 2:03 pm #202247@ellette-giselle wow….interesting section! I feel a bit bad for the one who believed right before the priest slashed his throat. But I agree with Leon, the sadness is tempered by the fact that they are in the presence of God Himself now.
