      I don’t think there is a forum like this in here! Either that or I just haven’t looked thoroughly enough. That’s totally possible. πŸ™‚

      Anyway, what is/are your favorite book(s)?

      Mine are:
      All Things Bright and Beautiful by James Herriot
      The Wingfeather Saga by Andrew Peterson (a series of four)
      Night by Elie Wiesel
      Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle
      Josiah’s Fire by Tahni Cullen

        My favorites are…
        Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (but I love the whole series)
        The Fellowship of the Ring (but again, the whole series is awesome!!!)
        Percy Jackson and the Olympians (I cannot choose just one book. They are all just. So. Good.)
        The Penderwicks series (Love, love, love these books)

            Zikers, I have a love/hate relationship with questions like these. Um, okay. Here goes.

            I have favorite book series, and then I have favorite books within that series.

            –Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief (book one, series one) and the Son of Neptune (book two, series two)

            –Harry Potter: The Goblet of Fire and The Deathly Hallows. I also like the Cursed Child, which is technically the eighth “book” in script form.

            Hm…I’m trying to think of other ones. I like the Ranger’s Apprentice series. That’s a good one. It’s long, but all of the books are good.

            Oh, and there’s a variety of non-canon Star Wars books out there. They’re spread out over the course of the entire SW series, so finding them in the right order can be confusing, but if you do your research, the books are worth it.

            Writer. Dreamer. Sometimes blogger. MBTI mess. Lover of Jesus and books.

              So apparently I really need to read Harry Potter. Haven’t read it or seen it. Might as well put it on my reading list. πŸ™‚

              @that_writer_girl_99
              I’m sort of the same way – I have read a couple Doctor Who books that are based off of the episodes, and I used to love them. But, they aren’t as good as the actual show. Sorta like LOTR only the other way around! XD

              You can pronounce it however you want.

                @that_writer_girl_99 Fabulous choices. πŸ˜‰ I am reading The Son of Neptune currently and I like it a lot so far!
                I have to disagree about The Cursed Child though. It was well-written, but I despised the story. It was all just so strange. Ah, well. To each his own. πŸ™‚

                @dekreel
                Read them! Read them! Read them! Read them!
                And after you’re done…
                Watch them! Watch them! Watch them!

                (Did I mention you should read them??)

                    @dekreel I love all of the Baker Family Adventure books by C.R. Hedgecock (especially Icland Intrigue). I also love Calico Captive by Elizabeth George Speare, Pride and Prejudice by Charlotte Bronte. That’s about all I can think of right now. Oh, and also I really love Eagle of the Ninth. (That’s the first one in the Roman-Britain Trilogy.)

                          @Dekreel Oooh! I loved A Wrinkle in Time too! It was one of the first books I read all in one day so it’s a bit special to me. XD

                          My all-time faves are:
                          The Man Who Was Thursday by G. K. Chesterton
                          The Little White Horse by Elizabeth Goudge
                          The Complete Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
                          ^^^ These three are definitely my absolute faves but I can’t decide between them. XD

                          Emma and Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen
                          The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien
                          The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas
                          Peter Pan by J. M. Barrie
                          North & South by Elizabeth Gaskell
                          ^^^ Not my absolute favorites but I LOVE THEM SO MUCH.

                          *is probably geeking out about something*

                            @emily Didn’t Jane Austen write Pride and Prejudice, or is that a different one?

                            @jessi-rae
                            I think I might have read part of the first book from the Door Within! Doesn’t it involve a boy (I think his name was Aidan) who find three vases in his basement and then goes on an adventure with a dragon? With a king he read about in scrolls?

                            @kate-flournoy
                            I also like Les Mis and F.451!

                              @graciegirl Did you hear the Disney is making a new movie based on Wrinkle in Time? Based on the trailer, it looked interesting.
                              I didn’t know Peter Pan was a book! lol

                                  @jessi-rae Yeah, it’s pretty well-written! I like the tone. I think you’d enjoy reading the Wingfeather Saga too if you like the Door Within. It’s an amazing four-book series by Andrew Peterson. It has more or less the same theme as the Door Within, but different. πŸ™‚
