Leon and Julian– Group 1
Leon had his sword drawn in seconds, and before he engaged the first enemy, Julian was at his shoulder. For a moment it was a wild skirmish, and everything was shouts and blows in the dark.
All at once, the fight died away.
Julian wiped rainwater from his eyes and looked about. “Are we clear?”

November 8, 2024 at 11:01 am #189368I think you should send in something more powerful, cuz Brutus…To him this is all fly swatting, and I’m sorry, but I can’t drag fly swatting out

We do need a plan, do we want to get out of the city?
Marcel — Elderstrand (w/ Group 1)
Marcel cocked his head, amused, and shook his fists to loosen them back to normal. “You could have left us a couple soldiers…”

Baron (Brutus)—Group 1, Elderstrand edge
Brutus held his drenched scarf up over his nose, his eyes shifting to the boy. He didn’t speak, he merely looked the boy up and down, before breaking out into a few coughs. Recovering himself, Brutus walked over the form of the patrolmen, beginning to tie them up as he did their other companions.

I might want to “approve”
So thats a semi yes!? Yay! Ok I have a creature idea for the Deewater! It is a serpent like creature, it stalks under boats and attacks when least expected. since I imagine the waters are “deep” (crazy right!) I imagine it lives deep in the waters, so little is known about it. And it rarely comes up. But when it does it attacks boats, and their crew. It would be a cyan blue, with sharp teeth, and fins on either side. it can go out of water and live on land for about three days. It also has memory, so it can remember voices. Since it lives deep in the water, it has blurry eyesight, and glows at night! Hope it can make it into the world! Thanks!
Pretty much. The word “whenever” might be a bit of a stretch,
Okay!
That’s an interesting one. If need a certain type of character to help develop one of your characters, and no existing characters could fill that role, then I suppose that could be okay, although I would probably want that NPC to count towards character limit
I see. What I imagine is that like an NPC like fleet (is he an NPC? He is native to this land right? Or is he just one of your characters?) But he is obviously important. So imagine an NPC that anyone can use, but he sticks with one of the groups. Thats kinda what I meant.

November 8, 2024 at 1:09 pm #189384I mean, they’re technically just NPCs, so yes, (though I would recommend using them sparingly.) In this case, I happen to agree with @rae’s assessment and will be deploying them anyway, lol.
@whalekeeper @rae @raxforge @loopylin @hybridlore @grcr @ellette-giselleEllis — Elderstrand (Group 1)
Within a few seconds, the fight was over, leaving the group in eerie quiet.
“Alright,” said Ellis. “Let’s get out of here before more show up.”
He stepped out of the alley and froze. A dozen hulking forms in armor were striding down the street towards them. The light of Ellis’s sword revealed faces, which were covered with a smooth, featureless helmet. Each one carried a sword that was easily four feet long.
Ellis readied himself to fight.

Yeah, that definitely sounds like something that we could incorporate soon!

Yes, he is an NPC. He’s actually not a super important character, but he’ll be around.
So imagine an NPC that anyone can use, but he sticks with one of the groups. Thats kinda what I meant.
I see. If that’s what you’re looking for, we can definitely work that out. I would need a bit more information about what you want, but I could definitely help design a character like that.

@whalekeeper @ellette-giselle @grcr @raxforge @loopylinBaron (Brutus)—Group 1, Elderstrand edge
Brutus sighed, before coughing once more. After which, he harnessed the wind once again, throwing the strong wind at the foremost figure, trying to knock it over. But nothing appeared to happen to the things. Brutus gave a cry, grabbing at his right arm, the one that he had used to send the Wind. Brutus tried once more, to the same effect. Blood began to trickle from his nose as he stepped back. He couldn’t fight them, unless he harnessed a stronger wind. Brutus’s right arm was curled up against his body, the muscles contracting sporadically. No, he should wait to see if someone else could take care of these new threats.

My guys are just normal people with some military training.
@whalekeeper @grcr @raxforge @loopylin @jonasLeon and Julian —Group 1, Elderstrand edge
Julian looked up and his eyes widened. He yanked Leon back. “Look out!”
Leon spun, gripping his sword tightly. His eyes and mouth opened in shock. “What are they!?”
A rush of wind tore past them, yanking Julian’s cloak over his head. He nearly lost hold of his sword as he untangled himself. Leon had moved out of the path of the wind and was up against the wall, watching the creatures.
A cry sounded behind them, and Julian turned. Brutus was holding his arm to his chest, blood dripping from his nose. He didn’t look good.
Leon had moved up to stand with one of the strangers who also held a sword.
Julian looked at the rest of the company desperately. “Does anyone know what those are? How do we stop them?”

@grcr @raxforge @whalekeeper @jonas @raeFelicity— Group 1, Edge of Elderstrand
“Clickmen.” Felicity shuddered at the sound of metal footsteps. It was clear as they got closer that they were not the machines Felicity was used to, but she didn’t care. She clenched her fists and strode forward.
One metal knight swung its sword. Felicity dodged. The blade landed a couple feet from her, cracking the cobblestone street. Fel took her chance to lunge at it, shoving with her shoulder and attempting to knock it off balance. It took a single step back. Then it lifted its sword again.
She tried again, dodging and hitting with bare fists. Luckily she was fast, but she couldn’t even scratch the thing’s armor. It was less of a fight, and more like a fly with very murderous intent buzzing around a person’s face.
Idk how Felicity could do anything to these things lol. She’s going to just get herself injured.

Well, that’s the freakiest name for robotic machines I’ve ever heard. *Eyes you suspiciously* Have you been worldbuilding for something?

And yes, lots of world building. And re-world building. I still have zero plot tho
