Leon narrowed his eyes. He couldn’t be sure… but were those feathers on the stranger’s shoulders? He shook the thought aside. “We also came from outside the city. At least, some of us did. Some of us were already inside. We have an odd band, but we’re starting to understand one another, and I think it’s safe to say we’re all on the same side. We’re hopelessly lost, and I have a feeling that if the guards ran into us it wouldn’t go well. It didn’t go well a few minutes ago,” he added, thinking of the unconscious guards in the ally. “Anyhow, I’m Leon.” He held out his hand to the stranger.

Whoa, what happened to Brutus’ speech?
When whispering, /s/ and /t/ are most pronounced and can be overheard. Brutus often replaces these sounds with /th/ when whispering. It’s a precaution.

“I’m Marcel.” He held Leon’s hand firmly. His speech was quieter and more gutteral than the other’s, and he made a conscious effort to raise it over the thunder. “…Same problem here. Do you know why the city is like this?”

Leon shook Marcel’s hand firmly. “No, I was hoping you did. My friend and I slipped through the gates while the guards were preoccupied with something, we met Brutus already in the city, and Ben and Flare fell off the roof on us. Then our newest companion came onto us during a sort of argument. You could try asking one of them, but I doubt they know much more then I do. They seemed fairly lost themselves.” Leon looked past Marcel. “Are there others with you?”

“I’d be game for that as well,” Leon agreed. “Except that I don’t remember even coming here in the first place, and i definitely don’t know where to go if we got back out of the city.” He sneezed. The rain had completely soaked him by now, and his fingers and nose were numb. “Whatever we do, we need to get out of the rain. My companions are getting drenched and someone’s going to get sick.”

(Seeing how long these group names are getting, I’m just going to start calling this group “group one”.)
Ellis — Elderstrand (Group 1)
Ellis turned and was surprised to find another group of people. Marcel was talking to one of the strangers, who it appeared were just as lost as they were. Mid-speech, the stranger sneezed. A moment later, someone shouted from behind Ellis.
“Hey! They’re right here! In the alley!”
Ellis spun around to see a soldier drawing a sword and stepping forward to attack.
Soulmight burst into green flame in Ellis’s hands, and, quick as a flash, he deflected the man’s attack and slammed a powerful kick into his middle. The soldier flew backwards several feet before landing on his back, wheezing for air.
Angry shouts told Ellis that the rest of the patrol was coming. He stepped further back into the alley, sword still aimed at its entrance. So much for staying hidden.

Here, I have some questions about this world?
1. What creatures are in this world? And can we make up creatures.
2. Is there magic already in this world?
3. Can you add an NPC in whenever?
4. Can you make a main character NPC, to help develop your character?
5. And finally, what are the locations of the map?

Oh, I’m not waiting on you or anything. If you hadn’t seen, the group with Ilahna, Klethen, and Everett is next to the river, downstream from the ship, so I’m more so waiting for something to happen with that group before I RP Rina again.
1. What creatures are in this world? And can we make up creatures.
The answer to a lot of these questions is going to be ‘I don’t know yet’, lol. In this case, aside from the Ironwalkers, I haven’t developed any unique creatures for this world. Are you allowed to make them up? I might want to “approve” them first (just so that we don’t end up with a bunch of random creatures running rampant everywhere), but sure!
2. Is there magic already in this world?
Technically, yes, (it was used to summon our characters into this world in the first place), but as far as I’ve planned ahead, I don’t foresee it being hugely important.
3. Can you add an NPC in whenever?
Pretty much. The word “whenever” might be a bit of a stretch, but it’s totally allowed as long as you have a good reason to do so, and the NPC makes sense in context (i.e. the NPC should fit the world established so far. We don’t want aliens randomly showing up or something like that.)
4. Can you make a main character NPC, to help develop your character?
That’s an interesting one. If need a certain type of character to help develop one of your characters, and no existing characters could fill that role, then I suppose that could be okay, although I would probably want that NPC to count towards character limit if you’re using it in the same capacity as a normal character. Before doing so, I would recommend seeing if someone else has a character who might be able to interact with yours in the way you’re looking for. It’s usually more fun to RP with someone else than just your own characters.
If you’re specifically thinking of Rosemary when you ask this, I will mention that we will be bringing in villainous characters fairly soon, so there may be someone among them or even an evil NPC that can fill the role you’re looking for. But otherwise, you definitely could make an NPC instead.
5. And finally, what are the locations of the map?
I don’t have much decided on beyond what you’ve seen so far. Obviously, we have Elderstrand and the Deepwild. The river is called the Deepwater and it flows through the Deepwild. There’s at least one more location that I have thought of so far, but I kinda don’t want to say anything right now. The characters will be going there soon.

Marcel — Elderstrand (w/ Group 1)
More soldiers raced in. Marcel clenched his hands, and feathers laced around his fingers. Kicking up water, he swerved around around Ellis, who acted as final flaming barricade.
He deflected a sword with his staff. The soldier barked an unpleasant threat and tried to seize his arm, but Marcel knocked his hand aside and swung a thunderous fist to the soldier’s shoulder. He kicked the man onto the cobblestones with a splash.
As other soldiers approached him through the narrow alley, he took a defensive stance and held up his arms to block. He called back over his shoulder, “You guys should make a quick plan!”

“You guys should make a quick plan!”
The wind around Brutus rose in intensity, aiding him as he rushed among the ranks of the city patrol. Each well-calculated punch and kick came with a strong wind, often throwing the men back into the walls of the buildings. Eventually, Brutus halted, looking around at the unconscious forms sprawled on the ground and lying against buildings. He wiped something away from his nose, but not one bruise was on his person.
"You need French Toast."
