      @dragon-Snapper and @overcomer
      I’ll join the valiant kingdom army!
      *Hefts massive battle ax, almost drops it on toe, decides to pick up some throwing knives instead*
      My goals for the fall and winter…hmmm….
      Right now I’m world building and trying to straiten out all the ideas floating around in my head. But for the future…

      Finishing my novella, Silver, before the end of fall break in October would be nice.

      Oh yeah, and writing most of my second novel during NaNoRiMo would be cool. I’m kind of swimming in school work so we will see if that actually works.

      And if I get that done, I’ll be off to do lots of editing.

        @corissa-maiden-of-praise Eschatology. wow that sounds crazy hard. (Eschatology is the study of the End Times, right?) Good luck with your paper. 🙂

        @Jess
        Lol Riptide. 🙂 Every writer needs one of those.

          @winter-rose Actually, it’s the study of last things. That does include the end times, but it also includes things like death in general. We spent about 3 weeks on the topic of death and what happens after you die. It was quite interesting. The course is a video series Dr. Whitcomb did when he was younger.

            Well, everyone, I have reached a milestone today…no, I did not finish my novel already. (wouldn’t that be nice) Instead, I reached 50,000 words! YAY!

              @corissa-maiden-of-praise Oh ok. An entire three weeks on death. that sounds morbid. 🙂 Is the class taught from a Christian worldview? If it isn’t it would definitely be very interesting (not that it wouldn’t be if it was from a Christian Perspective) :). I don’t think I know who Dr. Whitcomb is.

              @Dragon-snapper
              I know I already said this, BUT THAT IS AWESOME AGAIN! 🙂 🙂 🙂 that is a massive accomplishment. congratulations. 🙂

                Thanks, so honored to be here with this group of estimable young writers. *bows dramatically and sweeps off invisible hat* @dragon-snapper 😉

                For my first trick- I mean, my goals this Fall/Winter (so far, that is. There is always room for more goals!) are: To write without (much) ceasing, particularly The All Elusive Novel, and a little poetry. (Of sorts)

                I’m also tackling some of my older writings and editing them up. Editing is hard but very rewarding. 🙂

                Now, “Let’s do this thing!”

                  @winter-rose It really wasn’t morbid at all; it was actually quite intriguing. Yes, it is from a Christian perspective. Dr. Whitcomb is fairly famous; he co-authored The Genesis Flood which has been promoted quite a bit by Ken Ham and the Creation Museum. He’s also written several other books and taught several Christian college courses. And even though it was from a Christian perspective, we discussed several of the false views as well. He pointed out all the errors they have. 😉 He’s in his nineties now, but he’s certainly not retired. He’s working on another book commentary thing. 😉

                    @Corissa-Maiden-of-Praise That’s cool! I might have heard his name in passing, just didn’t recognize it. What collage are you taking the class through?

                      @winter-rose My church offers one or two every semester. The official name is the Fellowship Baptist School of Theology, or FBST for short. 😉

                              always, but gimme some wiggle room. I may not be able to take it right away. I’ll let you know when I’m ready for it.

                                My goal is to finish my WIP, Dawn, by Christmas. Most everyone uses, summer or Christmas as a convenient goal line. I also have several long-short story ideas I want to write by November.

                                  @anne-of-lothlorien Yes, Christmas is a lot easier to say and to remember than December 17…
