        Wait you didn’t say anything about a dragon or talking zebra *realizes you did mention dragon* Still… They can help her. Perhaps the godparents argued on the gifts and one got her the dragon and the other got her the talking zebra. This could greatly annoy said zebra (and dragon).
        Sounds like something I will want to read!

                @jess-penrose You are welcome. I imagined a talking zebra and it was a comical character, so…
                I like those characters. They add spice and salsa.
                Also most animals like to eat. 😉
                I plan on lots of fun for the catwings in my book. *trys to not explode from excitment*
                For talking animals you could take one of two paths (there may be others):
                Make them more human like. (Zootopia, Guardians of Ga’Hoole, Etc.)
                Have them be animal like, and just talk. (Can’t think of example)

                I’m full of crazy.

                        Hi, @jess-penrose! I myself wrote a Cinderella retelling a while back, (though it wasn’t my best work) and I may or may not have some ideas for you.

                        1. Have the prince be good and the Fairy Godmother (or equivalent thereof) have told Tareyn that he stole the pendant. But the Fairy Godmother (or equivalent thereof) actually stole it and wants to use it’s unknown powers to usurp the kingdom.

                        2. Have one of the stepsisters end up with the prince instead of Tareyn, and introduce another guy for her to team up with to save the world and possibly eventually become a love interest.

                        3. Maybe the Fairy Godmother person isn’t her real fairy godmother. Maybe she/he is an imposter, trying to weasel his/her way to the pendant.

                        ENTP, Aether-borg Hero with cape obsession and fascination with swords.

                          @aislinn-mollisong Ooooh, more and more ideas!

                          Hmm, I’m not thinking that the Prince is good, but the Faery Godmother Equivalent… She’ll be not-so-good.
                          I am horrible at writing love interests… I don’t know why, but they never work… Much better at siblings and friends. Although, a challenge is always good…

                          Thanks so much for the help!!!

                            You have cattle! Do you live on a farm? 😬
                            It’s fine if you don’t know those examples…
                            *cough* *nods at profile picture* I am a catwing. Yes, we are like cats.

                            @jess-penrose

                            I had more.
                            If she has a fairy godmother for each of her parents… what if she had another one who is also her stepsisters’ and stepmother’s? One who try’s to stop the other godparents?

                              @catwing Ah… I am afraid I am alergic to you then…

                              Oh wow… lots of faery godparents. So far I think I may stay with two. Taryn is still trying to get over the shock of them… and kinda failing while she’s at it…
                              But thanks anyway!

                                  @jess-penrose Your Cinderella retelling sounds awesome! I can’t wait to read it someday. 😉 I myself am working on a retelling, but for Snow White (it’s supposed to be for the Rooglewood contest, but I’m still only in the planning stages… *nervous grin*).
