Ok, I did the Elf thing. I wore my costume in the grocery store. Here’s my results,
Adults: They /very/ /very/ rarely pay at attention to costumes. I got two double takes in 2 hours. /two/. and it was crowded.
Children: They either gawk in awe or look confused. Often the parents lead them away as they stare.
So that the result of the Elf thing! xP
Sounds like fun. 😉
We live in the country, but once we were were filming a fantasy movie so we were all dressed up. We had to walk down the road to reach the location we were filming at and passed our neighbor’s house where a party was going on. The looks we got were very amusing. 😉
INTJ - Inhumane. No-feelings. Terrible. Judgment and doom on everyone.
Fun! 😛 WE live in the country too:)
Maybe try again for better reactions. 😛 You’ll get a comment eventually.
Yeah;P
oh, and my costume consists of; a gold crown with leaf decals, silver eyeliner, a forest green velvet cloak, brown tunic, string belt and leg armor pieces that i hot-glued to pair of black knee high boots.
Cool! Someday I might try this with my colonial dress and cloak…that would be interesting. Might have to wait until Florida decides to cool down some, though, otherwise I’ll roast like a plump hen. 😛
