I’ve met horses that would plain out be awfully embarrassed if ya fell off, so much so they take it easy on ya. I’ve met horses who you could walk under and they wouldn’t care. Dumb sometimes, yes. Little brats sometimes, yes. Wild in the field, yes. But strap on a saddle, or pull on the halter, and their lambs!

“I think we’re lost.” Cole said matter-of-factly, as the two Stonestians stared at the rows of barrels.
“The voice said the dining hall, and we are definitely not in it. Unless I’m mistaken, we’re in the wine cellar below-ground. Alone.” Callipsa had pulled her cloak’s hood over her head and was flitting around the cellar like a wraith. “We need to retrace our steps.”
“That will be difficult,”Cole remarked, as he looked at the blank wall where the doorway had been just a moment ago.
Callipsa screamed in frustration. She kicked a barrel, but it didn’t budge. Callipsa stalked over to the former doorway and retrieved a small black stone from her robes. She held it at arm’s length, seething with rage, and spit out an incantation. The wall cracked, but then healed itself. Callipsa collapsed into a heap, choking tearful curses against anyone she could think of. “Curse this castle! Curse whoever is doing this! Curses on Alchemo, Katonia, Brianaro, John, Anaibia, Nivlaco,…” her voice dwindled away into a whimper.
Cole studied the wall. “Magic doesn’t work here – at least our magic doesn’t. Physicality seems to be effective, however.” He examined the place on the enormous barrel where Callipsa had kicked it. There was a good-sized dent in it. “Is there anything I can use to break us out of here?”

If I were The King, I would make some sort of riddle for them to solve, or open another doorway that should be obvious that leads to the dining hall. But I don’t know him so…
