@jonas great! I think (I may be wrong) that there’s a bit less chaos here, and I won’t (necessarily) add to it. This sounds really fun! I’ll be watching to see when someone picks up the story again

Ok @jason I’ll kick us off (as the Thanksgiving game is underway in the background)
I would do pictures but it’s acting up for me again so you’ll have to go off imagination
I also use present tense for high-action scenes, fyi

“Give me a boost,” Cole commanded Callipsa. The King’s soldiers rushed from all directions, streaming down from the ramparts of the earthen fortress. Their shouts and orders to “drop your weapons” and “surrender now” went unheeded.
“Yes, your Majesty,” she mocked, but she knelt and cupped her hands.
“Actually, you’re not that far off.” Cole brushed his long blond hair out of his eyes and prepared for launch.
Cole takes a running start, plants his foot on the leverage point, launches himself in the air, twists and flips until the angle is perfect, and then aims his bow directly at one pitiful soldier’s foot. I’m gonna string him up like a Christmas goose. And it’s going to look so funny. He thought.
He blinked.
The soldier was gone. All the soldiers were gone. The blue sky was gone. The earthen ramparts were gone. The battle was gone. The… you get the idea.
Instead of all that, Cole found himself flipping in a dark hall on a stormy night. “What the…” His arrow shot from his bow and lodged itself neatly in a crack between two wall stones. Cole was so surprised, he almost forgot to catch himself as he landed. Almost. He rolled and stood, looking around.
“Where are we?”
Cole spun. Callipsa was there too. “Great. I’m stuck here with you, the bumbling wizard’s apprentice.”
Callipsa’s face grew hot and her eyes sparked. “Bumbling?? Might I remind you how many I have just spell-bound a moment ago? The Draelings I summoned?”
Cole rolled his eyes. “What about the times you dropped your wand? Or missed the spell-bind? Or lost a Pixie? Or –”
Footsteps in the hallway. Cole spun, arrow notched and aimed. Callipsa drew her wand and whispered the starting incantations for a spell-bind. Cole challenged the newcomer. “Who are you? Identify yourself!”

Glace
“Who are you? Identify yourself!” Glace answered in his low, raspy voice.
“The slayer of armies, the killer of all, the assassin of kings, the destroyer of some. I live alone in the shadows, and to the shadows I return.”
Note: if you didn’t see earlier in my intro post about Glace, he is a really really good fighter. He has literally gone to battle, alone, with little more than the clothes on his back, and defeated an entire army. Don’t pick a fight with him or your charries life will end in a matter of seconds!

“Identify yourself!”
“I refuse to take orders from you, mortal,” Fracture looked down his nose at the intruder. “You will not boss me, the Great Compound Fracture, around!” He stomped his foot again, seemingly oblivious to the fact that he had just identified himself, therefore complying to the man’s request.

Glace in his normal form as Glacen Ire (his name when in his apartment and not being a hero) is kinda a person who sticks to his own business. He has one day of the week to go grocery shopping and going to gym and the rest of the week he’s in his apartment.
Glace as hero Glace is not afraid to kill people if he thinks it means the future will be better without them. He’s not afraid to go through a city after someone, even if it means hurting some innocents in the process, as long as it means a better future. That’s what makes him only somewhat a hero, he makes very questionable decisions.

ok I’m not sure what just happened so I’m going to try to make sense of it

Cole put his arrow back into his quiver and smiled. “My kind of guy.”
“But the other one…” Callipsa pocketed her wand and stared at the foot-stomping man-child. “I’m not sure he deserves to live.”
Cole looked at Fracture. “Nothing’s immortal in this ol’ world, kid. Take it from us. Her ‘immortal’ boss just got destroyed by my little brother. Now stop making a scene of yourself, because it really makes me want to hang you up (he looked up at the high ceiling and pointed to a point on the wall twenty feet above Fracture’s head) right there. It would look so funny.”

Glace was not expecting that answer. Most people avoided him after that intro, if they didn’t heed his words, he’d show him how he could get to their throats in little more than a second. Then they started making fun of Fracture.
“Don’t bother about Fracture, he’s just some insane fool who thinks he is unkillable.”
