Glace felt very bored of this apparently meaningless conversation.
“Do you want to find out, or do you want to just talk about it? They are two separate things.” Glace didn’t wait for the response, he turned and walked down the halls again. Whether they followed or not, he didn’t care.

“Wasn’t asking,” said Krenna, “Anyway, I saw a big ol’ room back there, so I’m gonna check that out. You losers make up your own mind.” She turned back the way she had come and started towards the large room.

Svlys looked back and forth between the departing figures. She most definitely did not want to be left alone in this creepy place, and Fracture didn’t exactly count as company. She decided to follow the person who seemed less likely to attack her. The guy with the weird mask.
Fracture lay on the ground, laughing quietly. She poked him with her foot. “Hey,” she said unsurely, “I’m going to follow that guy.” She pointed her thumb down the hallway he had gone down. “You coming?”

“You coming?” something poked him. He did the logical thing and screamed.
Rolling away and jumping to his feet in what he hoped was a threatening fighting stance.
“HOW DARE YOU tell ME what to do!” he screamed, stomping his foot, once again causing his foot to erupt in pain. I really need to stop doing that, he held his wounded foot. “Only-only I, the great Compound Fracture, can tell myself what to do!” He threw fake punches at the girl, who didn’t even flinch, as the punches probably wouldn’t even hurt a fly.
“Alright,” the girl said, turning around and walking away, “Suit yourself.”
Fracture was alone in the dark. And then in a sudden realization, he learned that he was afraid of the dark.
“Wait!” he said in a small voice, “I’m scared of the dark! I don’t want to be aloooooooonnnnneeee!” he pretended to cry for effect.
“Oh, stop being dramatic,” the girl shook her head. “Just follow me.”
“Okay…” Fracture whispered, and tiptoed behind her, wiggling his fingers and bouncing from one foot to another in what he liked to call the “terrifying villain walk”. He just needed some sound effects, so he started humming the theme from James Bond.
“Can you cut it out?” the girl looked over her shoulder, exasperated.
“How DARE YOU tell ME what to do!” Fracture screamed, stomping his foot. “Ow, ow, ow, ” he winced.
