@salome01w4g Ahh! Sorry I’m so late! I’m not a big poet (I’d love to try, I’m a bit slammed at the moment) so I think I’ll leave the epic poetry to you guys. Your poem was great XD Yours too, @rochellaine. XD Thanks for tagging me, Hannah!
March 2, 2018 at 11:47 am #65262@rochellaine Yeah we might not want to show normal people (that would be non-writers) this topic here and our
weird, uh, interesting poem topics. 😉lol, maybe Charlie’s mother needs to snap herself out of it and pull Charlie away from that! 😀 😀 😀

www.jennaterese.comMarch 2, 2018 at 1:04 pm #65281@jenwriter17 Thanks for tagging me!!! 🙂 🙂 Here’s the best I got:
A Narwhal Fight
There once was a Narwhal called Lou,
who was proud as a dolphin, it’s true.
He owned a small ball
that would bounce up and fall
back into the ocean so blue.
There was also a young Narwhal that,
liked playing where Lou often sat.
This Narwhal was Ish,
He was fond of large fish,
and because of his diet, quite fat.
Now Ish liked balls very much
though he’d speared his own on his tusk.
But he so longed to play,
he longed every day
to find a new ball just by luck.
Ish saw Lou with his ball one day.
He cried, “oh hey, can I play?
We could have such fun,
such fun in the sun
and be great friends, what d’you say?”
Lou did not want to share,
but to decline would be unfair.
“I guess you can stay,
I guess it’s okay
but remember MY ball’s not for sale.”
Neither Narwhal was overjoyed.
Ish was extremely annoyed.
The two hit the ball,
it sailed high as a gull,
but Lou still hoarded his toy.
“I think you’re jealous,” Lou spat,
“you’re making my nice ball flat.
You want it so bad,
you’re making me mad;
I think you’re a fat little brat.”
Ish was now very sad.
“You do not have to be mad.
I’m so very sorry,
I’ll leave in a hurry.”
He swam away feeling bad.
Now Lou felt like a bully.
“Please do not leave in a hurry!
I was stupid and mean,
please play ball with me.
I want to be friends. Really!”
Now Ish was a happy Narwhal.
He often told others this tale:
how in the end
he’d gained a new friend
And learned always to share a ball.
Whew, not my best work but it was such fun to write!! 😉
Okay, I’m going to tag you, @kaya-young, but if you don’t wanna be tagged, let me know!
You’re topic is: red bubbles. Have fun!!! *grins evilly* 🙂

March 2, 2018 at 1:12 pm #65283@ingridrd Oh, that’s really cute!
When I first saw the line “This Narwhal was Ish” I thought it meant that he was so-so, because “ish” is what we put on the ends of the words when we mean “not really, but kind of.” Then I realized it was his name, and it became even funnier! 😀

@kaya-young Haha, thank you!! 😀You can pronounce it however you want.
March 3, 2018 at 3:58 pm #65412@dekreel Thank you! I love writing poems. (So now you know: If you ever see a fight between boxes and foxes, bet on the rocks!) And you should totally write a story-poem. 😀
@kaya-young I can’t wait to read yours! But if you can come up with two prompts, why don’t you tag two people (Dekreel and someone else) so that we can get more poems? No, I’m not asking to be tagged. 🙂 I just wrote two poems, so let someone else do it. I just love the laughs I get from reading the poems, so I wish more people were tagged. 😀"Sylvester - Sylvester!"
