@aratrea Thanks so much for the info! I think I tend more toward literature, then.
Haha xD Yeah, none of the schools I’m interested in had creative writing as a major, so I won’t go with that. Teaching in a classical school would most likely be my first pick. Thanks for your insight! I wish you well in your studies and job search 🙂

Are you a senior then? I’m a junior, and it’s scary that I’ll be applying to colleges next summer. O_O I can’t believe it! Congratulations on being accepted! That’s awesome. 🙂
@dragon-snapper
Where are you looking at going right now? And what year are you in High School? Just wondering because I’m in the same boat… 😉
Right now, I’m mostly leaning toward Hillsdale College in Michigan or Asbury University in Kentucky (a small Christian school…I have a good friend who goes there and loves it). 🙂
@sleepwalkingmk
Have you looked into Hillsdale College? It’s a conservative school, mostly Christian, and they have a VERY good Classics program. I’m looking at going into English or Classics, so I really like that they have a great Classics program.
College… yay. Although I’ve taken a few classes already, and they haven’t been that bad, sooo… 🙂
I’m a junior, and I’m looking to likely major in either music or teaching, and minor in the other. (no, not writing. Not yet. I LOVE my writing, but *coughs* it doesn’t exactly pay very well under ordinary circumstances… *hides from accusing glares* And, hey, teaching will come in handy when I’m ready to home-school my kids… someday.)
Anybody else on here in the Michiana area? That’s where I’m looking. I’ve heard Bethel has a really good music program…

@gretald No, I haven’t. Okay, I just checked and it looks pretty cool. Thanks! I’ll look more into it. 🙂
