Fives tapped Alpha’s shoulder from behind.
“Oh, look over there…is that Silkana I see?” His tone was almost mocking. Alpha elbowed him.
“Shhh, she might hear you, and-“
“And what?”
“You would tell her I… love her.”
“Would I?” Fives said in mock surprise.
“Yes, you would.” Fives put his fingers on his chest, a hurt look in his face.
“Me? Innocent me?”
“Totally not innocent you!”
“So, when are you gonna ask her?” Fives’s naga tail twitched in excitement. “You know this is a holiday that many people think about love?” Alpha adjusted the stiff Realn-style collar on his black suit.
“Shut up, I’m not going to ask her.”
“Oh, yes you will, or a series of accidental calamities will happen in which you will end up bumping into her.”
“Shut it, Fives.” Alpha played with his suit, rubbing out imaginary wrinkles, and cleaning an imaginary stain.
“Oh, you want to look nice for your…bride to be?” Alpha’s face turned red, and his hands fisted.
“Fives!” Fives smiled mischievously in delight.
“You should have never told me on my wedding day that you would never fall in love. Next thing you know, you meet a half naga and fall in love!”
“Fives! Quiet, she’s…she’s coming over here.” Fives rubbed his long-fingered hands together, then straightened his posture and said to Alpha in a very normal tone,
“I must go see my Pearl, you will excuse me, Alpha Grath.” Fives adjusted his dark hair, ruffled Alpha’s black hair, to Alpha’s annoyance, and pranced away humming a tune that Alpha knew well, “Love’s dance.” Alpha’s jaw muscles tightened as he stared after his friend in annoyance.
“Hello, Alpha.” At the sound of Silkana’s sweet voice, he seemed to melt. He hurriedly tried to fix his hair.
“Hi Silkana.” Hi? That’s all you can say? What happened to your normal greeting?

ooooh and he has a tail??? I like it! What kind of tail? Mammal or reptile? I assume “naga” means lizard-like because the nagas I know of were snake-people from Indian myths.

Fives…Fives…yes, I remember a clone from somewhere that I loved a lot (Grogu, Din Djarin, and some of the clones are my fave Star Wars charries) it was in like…2022 somewhere that I saw him so I don’t really remember rn. I don’t watch much Star Wars.
I might be able to find a pic, but it wouldn’t be of Fives. I could draw him though.
Oh, and he has a brother with the name…Tech. Totally doesn’t look like the one from the Bad Batch, but can be geeky like him.

actually no all of the bad batch are my favorites, and then fives and rex, and you know what? I love all the clones lol
please do draw fives and tech!! I love the names and designs because 1, they remind me of two of my favorite characters and 2, because the naga is a mythical creature I like because it feels like something I’d come up with.

It’s probably good that they don’t look like the ones from star wars. Disney would certainly come after you if you made their clones snakepeople and put them in your story.
