Meanwhile, inside the house… Sara, I hope I’m not butchering your characters too badly. I don’t remember if they were officially brought into the party yet or not but let’s just say they are.
Liliana
Liliana was happy to see some girls her age at the party. Most of the other young women were in their twenties, and acted all mature and proper. Boldly, she approached the two girls, putting on what she liked to call her “social smile”.
“Hello,” she greeted them. “I’m Liliana Thurman. What are your names?”
“Christine McKinley,” the older girl replied, looking disinterested. Her gaze flitted about the room, as though she was planning a route of escape.
“Emily, but you can call me Emmy,” the younger one answered, flashing a sweet smile back at Liliana.
The girls engaged in small talk for a little while. {I’m terrible at creating conversations lol.} The room buzzed with voices as the guests interacted with one another, and Christine slowly drifted away to a corner of the room, but Liliana scarcely noticed, her focus on the bubbly Emmy.
Suddenly a cry went up from someone on the other side of the room, and the room lapsed into a horrified silence before exploding in frantic noise. Young Daniel McKinley, in his game of hide-and-seek with his sister Esther and Himmler, had caught the edge of a tablecloth, and the candle atop the table tipped. Flames were now shooting up from the tablecloth, and Liliana could do nothing but stare in horror as servants rushed in with bowls of water to try to quell the flames.
This RP feels a little choppy to me, but it’s better than nothing lol.

@smiley haha, i love Anna XD
Hans
Hans smirked. Anna could handle herself. “Well, Anna the Rebel, Star’s saddle and bridle is on the rack over there. I’ll saddle Night.”

Okay it’s kind of hard to believe that this is the same Hans as the Hans in your book, but it kind of shows what pain does to a person
i love Anna XD
Aww thanks, girl, I now really want to change this family into a WWII time story or something
Anna
Hans smirked. Anna could handle herself. “Well, Anna the Rebel, Star’s saddle and bridle is on the rack over there. I’ll saddle Night.”
Anna shot a look at Hans and then smiled. “Anna the rebel, I could get used to that,”
(If you don’t mind I’m going to skip to when they are riding)
After a bit of riding, Anna brought Star to a stop turning her head to look at Hans. “He’s a great horse, he listens well, very different than Athena, my horse, she’s has rebellious as me and doesn’t listen very well,” Anna stated with a small laugh.
Anna took a deep breath taking in the view.

There was a sudden shocked scream.
A tablecloth had been ripped from its table, and a string of fire along the rim licked at the nearby furniture, as the servants frantically tried to put it out. Children scrambled away.
Before Char could grab his arm, Moon leaped over his chair and pulled the kids out of the way. “Move!”
The fire wasn’t too big, but the frightened servants hadn’t done much good. The water had been thrown at the problem too hastily. Some sections of the cloth were still dry and burning.
Moon pulled the cloth off the table and – with complete disregard for his new shoes and trousers – stomped.
He stomped long and hard, until the fire breathed its last.
Then backed away, leaving a black spot of crumpled fabric, and shivered. “Someone should take care of this. Sorry, Mrs. Baumann! …Wherever she is. Could someone please get me a glass of water?”

Hey…
I’m removing the Jeffersons from the RP for now… I don’t really see myself playing in here, so sorry…. I don’t know where my people are right now, but just pretend they had to leave for some reason.
Sorry….

@smiley just for future reference, Star is a female horse 😊
I’m just gonna change the “he” to “she” XD
Hans
“She’s a great horse, she listens well, very different than Athena, my horse, she’s as rebellious as me and doesn’t listen very well,” Anna said with a laugh.
Hans chuckled. “Just like her owner then. Say, Anna, have you ever jumped over a wall with Athena? I’ve done it several times with Star, and Felix has done it with Night…we have a six-foot wall that we jump over often…but maybe it’s not safe.”

*sighs* I always get the gender of animals wrong… XD
Anna

Anna looked at Hans and then gave a confident smile. “I have jumped Athena and safety has never been my number one priority, much to my parents’ dismay,”

lol 😂
Hans
Well, Anna had more spunk than he realized.
And she was cute. Super cute.
Hans smiled. “Well, do you want to try to jump the wall then? You can go before or after me, whichever you’d prefer…Anna.”

Anna
Hans smiled. “Well, do you want to try to jump the wall then? You can go before or after me, whichever you’d prefer…Anna.”
Anan thought, she’d never jumped their wall and it would probably be best if he led her into it. “I’ll follow you,”
*me kind of getting scared for their safety and then realizing this is fictional*
(You can write them going over the jump if you want, it’s totally up to you)

Sybil
When the tablecloth went up in flames and Moon stomped it out, Matilda Baumann immediately took a seat and began fanning herself in distress. Sybil quickly made her way to the woman’s side to comfort her.
“My beautiful tablecloth from India,” Matilda mourned. “It cost a pretty penny, you know. Ohhhh, my tablecloth.”
Sybil laid a gentle hand on Matilda’s shoulder. “We can be thankful the house wasn’t burned down, and none of the children were hurt.” Matilda seemed not to hear Sybil, her face buried in her gloves as she continued to lament the loss of her tablecloth.
Several of the servants began to clean up the mess, and Sybil scanned the room to see where her own children were. There was Liliana, standing with one of the McKinley girls, and Hudson was standing next to James Harrison and his girl. Good. They were socializing. But Adeline was standing by herself, observing the rest of the room. Sybil frowned. Usually Adeline was intentional about speaking to the other young ladies in the room, so it was strange that she was standing alone.
Before Sybil could give it any more thought, a servant approached her and Matilda.
“Miss Matilda, perhaps you would like to step away for a minute to refresh yourself,” the servant suggested. “I have a bowl of water in the back room.”
