Okay guys, sorry I’m late, but meet the McKinleys!
Reuben McKinley
He’s 45, with blue eyes and blonde hair. He’s very kind and loves to talk with people. He’s one of those parent’s who’ll stay hours at church talking with other parents! He’s good looking and muscular.
Ada McKinley
She’s 42, with green eyes and black hair. She comes off shy and blunt at first, but when you get to know her she’s a great friend and very sweet. She dotes on her children and may or may not be guilty of spoiling her youngest daughter.
Will McKinley
He has few friends, and is eager to attend this party as a chance to eat good food, have fun, meet new friends….and some girls. He loves horses, and has a strange obsession with chocolate cake (anything unhealthy, really) and likes annoying his siblings. He can be flirtatious at times, and is a gentleman. He’s 17
Christine (Tina) McKinley
She’s 16, and shares Will’s love for horses. When she’s not galloping on the flats with her brother, she is doing something else at the saddle. When no one’s looking, she’ll ditch the dress and the sidesaddle, take Will’s saddle and old breeches and ride astride *gasp. the horror!**** She has no time for boys, as her whole world revolves around horses. She’s socially awkward and doesn’t like people, and was forced to attend this party.
Emily (Emmy) McKinley
She’s 14 and is very popular. With beautiful blonde hair and sparkling blue eyes, she’s an envy of several girls, but she never seems to notice. She has a heart of gold and loves to talk to people, loves parties, and loves to write her stories. She hopes to be a novelist when she gets older, and is always carrying a notebook and pencil.
Daniel McKinley
He is a typical 9-year-old brother. He loves pulling pranks, an activity that often gets him in trouble. He likes putting frogs in the bedsheets of his sisters, in their pockets, on the dinner table…well, he just likes frogs in general for some odd reason. On a rainy day, he’s often found searching for them. He has dark brown eyes and blonde hair.
Esther McKinley
She is the youngest, a tad spoiled, and very shy and sensitive. She is very easy to make cry, and though they’re not often, her tantrums are legendary. She is attatched to Ada’s side at all times and likes to be held. She’s very sweet though and enjoys searching for dandelions.
Also, guys, I am trying to practice writing good romance…so if any ladies are interested in Will, or any young men interested in Christine or Emily, let me know! WAIT. what if we had a love triangle? Then we could have great drama, romance, and it would be so much fun! What do you guys think?

LEFSE FOREVER!!!!!! <333September 29, 2023 at 8:50 am #157441@savannah_grace2009 I think Bennett and Christine would fit together really well! Unfortunately, he’s not at this part due to a mishap earlier in the day (mentioned in my earlier RP) but he’ll be coming around in the future. They’re both still young though, so any romance between them would have to stay pretty light and not get too serious until they’re a little older. Bennett also is going to the army when he turns 17 or 18, but depending how their relationship would play out, they could write letters to each other and such.

September 29, 2023 at 8:56 am #157442@savannah_grace2009 I know you also said Tina doesn’t really have time for boys but that might just add to the story, if Bennett finds her spunkiness interesting and they start off just as friends because Tina doesn’t want to think about a relationship, and then later on realizes she likes him. Maybe Bennett gets to know Will first, but takes notice of Tina as he spends time with Will.

I like this idea! I agree they would fit well together, and that the romance would be light and sweet, and writing letters would be fun!!! So I agree with everything you said, haha

LEFSE FOREVER!!!!!! <333September 29, 2023 at 10:02 am #157446KP ate my original post where I had put all the ages of the McKinleys and so I had to hurry and redo it. So I must have forgotten to put Esther’s age, but she’s seven like @grcr said.

September 29, 2023 at 8:59 pm #157480@grcr Okay, wellllll… I have this, but it’s a little lame and short…
Adeline
“How do you do?” Adeline greeted a young woman with glistening black hair. “I’m Adeline Thurman.”
“Nice to meet you. I’m Isabelle Jefferson,” the young woman replied. “Have you known the Baumanns before?”
“Father had some acquaintance with Mr. Baumann, but I’ve not met them before,” Adeline replied. She nudged Liliana with her elbow, but when Liliana ignored it, she added, “This is my sister, Liliana.”
“Nice to meet you, Liliana,” Isabelle said with a smile. Liliana offered a brief smile in return.
“You as well,” she said.
Good. At least now she’s remembering her manners. Adeline returned to the conversation.
“Have you known the Baumanns?” she asked Isabelle.
“My mother’s cousin introduced her to Mrs. Baumann a few weeks ago,” Isabelle replied. “But I hadn’t met them personally.”
At that moment, another family walked through the door, their children younger than most of the other families present. Liliana perked up slightly, and left Adeline’s side to introduce herself to the two girls.
