Blair
Blair and Isabella walked over to their parents, and the family all moved together to the parlor. Belle sat down.
Blair walked to a window and looked out. He watched as the Baumanns went out and greeted the families that got out of the two other carriages.
Isabella smiled and walked to her brother. She put her hand on his arm.
“Blair,” Isabella looked into Blair’s eyes, “please, please, show more interest in the world, and in the family of our host.”
“I am not uninterested in this party, Bella.” Blair said coldly, “I just… I cannot assess the mood.” You know what I mean.
“Is that so?” Isabella said as she looked out the window. She watched outward for several moments, and then walked to her mother and sat down.
Blair watched as the newest visitors entered the parlor. He moved away from the window, and quickly glanced at all of the people. He turned his attention to his twin. She never stops smiling, does she? You should probably do more smiling, Blair.

Just an idea… but I think Hans and Anna would be cute together… I know @grcr suggested Anderson Thurman could try to arrange a marriage between Adeline and Hans, but maybe we could use that to our advantage. Neither Hans or Adeline want to be in the relationship because they’re both interested in someone else. It might be interesting to see how that plays out if they both have to confront their parents about the situation. Idk, what do you guys think?

I’d be totally willing to have Anna be in a relationship with Hans
although Kate would technically be more his age
Anna’s twenty and Kate is twenty-nine

I’m totally fine with my characters falling for your guys’ charries
except James, he’s sort of taken by Constance

-ThorneSeptember 28, 2023 at 5:19 pm #157390Oops, haha, I’m getting people mixed up already lol. I just created a list of all the characters so I can remember who is who.
Well, neither Hans or Anna and Kate are my characters, so you can decide which one fits better.

Liliana
Liliana sidled up next to Adeline as they entered the house. Attending parties was fun for about an hour, until the novelty wore off. But this time, she didn’t know anyone else in attendance, and most of the other guests appeared to be older than twenty. Even Bennett wasn’t along this time, since he’d been soaking wet when he arrived home from his ride and Mother had ordered a hot bath for him.
“Do you think anyone else is coming?” Liliana whispered to Adeline.
“I don’t know,” Adeline replied in a low voice.
“Ooh, look at that chandelier,” Liliana whispered again, gesturing to the fancy ornament in the center of the hall. Adeline pushed Liliana’s arm down.
“Don’t point,” she hissed. “It’s not ladylike.”
Liliana resisted the urge to roll her eyes.
“Come, let’s meet some of the other guests,” Adeline said as the two sisters entered the parlor.

Okay, and after some thought, I think it would be most interesting if Hans fell for Anna
definitely the more wild of the two sisters, and the one that their father thought would never marry

-ThorneSeptember 28, 2023 at 6:27 pm #157420And when ever you want to start a convo between them, Anna is currently standing in the corner reading (she’s a wild yet introverted type XD)

-ThorneSeptember 28, 2023 at 6:34 pm #157422Hey guys! Finally here!
Char
Two boys walked along a street.
Carriages rattled along, wrinkled fabrics hanging out, bunched together like a bouquet of ribbons. Bells ringed along the shop fronts, as ladies, like so many jewels and dragonflies, flitted about with such grace and girlish passion – heeding only the restraints of married women.
In the windows, toys, sweets, and all manner of silks and hats were displayed, piled high, like dragon treasure.
The boys headed up the street with some resolve. Both were blond – one with strong, tanned shoulders, and the other far more delicate.
The elder strolled along, thumbs hooked in his suspenders, at a leisurely pace.
The younger spun on his silver heels, matching steel-gray eyes glinting mischievously as he peered up at the shop windows through the end of a glass bottle.
He lowered it, and spun towards his brother with a toothy grin. “Buck up, Char. You’re a real gentleman now, and I have stars for eyelets. The world is our oyster!”
His words, although cocky in concept, were laced with softness, as if he were waiting for someone to laugh along.
Charles stopped walking. “Moon…”
“Sorry. But listen, Char… Today was a great day at the shop. I think I’m really meant for this.” The boy scrambled onto a nearby bench, wobbling. “It’s not so bad, living here.”
Char furrowed his brow, dark eyes welling with embers. “For you.”
The two stopped in front of a toy shop, and gazed up at dangling plane models, as they teetered in a miniature dogfight.
Moon wiped his nose on his sleeve.
“I…” Char struggled to find the words. “We don’t have time.”
As if on cue, a small carriage rolled up next to them.
They both jumped inside, Moon tripping on his own feet and giving the driver a huge smile.
A tiny woman, face hard, sat with her arms crossed in the corner. Her voice sounded like a hair comb scraping against a washing board. “Where have you two been?”
Moon’s smile widened. “We were lolly-gagging, Ma.”
The woman hissed under her breath. Her copper eyes narrowed into slits.
“- We are all in one piece, see?” The boy made waving motions around his body. “All here and accounted for! Totally did not almost get squished by a -”
Char kicked his shin.
She was their mother, Gabriella. Without a doubt, an explosion was in store for them when they returned home.
It wasn’t long before a large mansion loomed in front of them, and they squeaked to a stop in a frozen parade of carriages.
Slipping on a black cherry vest, Charles breathed in, chest swelling with silent resolve.
Moon brushed his wispy hair behind his ears, and tilted his head, as the two flopped out of the carriage ahead of their mother, and stared up at the gorgeous house.
“The Baumanns, right?” Char murmured.
“Everything is a mountain”
