and I was so confused
February 24, 2018 at 6:23 pm #64598@notawriter Steal anything you want. I didn’t make them up, anyway! (Uh….most of them.)

There’s also Vekka, and Tara pronounced (Tah-ra)Â (both girl names)
And Torren (boy) 🙂
You can pronounce it however you want.

http://www.encircledbygrace.com/February 28, 2018 at 10:46 am #64935@kaya-young I don’t have any suggestions for names.. But I was thinking about what makes a name sound futuristic.. And now I’m really curious. 😀 I do notice that futuristic names tend to be short? And often they are like normal names but spelled in an uncommon way. I feel like there is more to it then that though. What makes a name sound futuristic to you personally?
Oh but since I’m here… My favorite names suggested are Tyver, Penn, (these two might be my favorite)
Trinity, (I also rly like this one) Carill/Karill, (I think spelled with a K sounds more futuristic) And lastly Kirlas. (although for some reason it reminds me of star trek)and I was so confused
February 28, 2018 at 11:07 am #64939@notawriter I guess my idea of a futuristic name is a name that is a bit unusual, or that you don’t normally see. But that’s just my interpretation of it. 🙂
Kirlas reminds me of Star Trek too!

http://www.encircledbygrace.com/March 6, 2018 at 7:24 pm #65715Hey, everyone! What an awesome topic! 🙂 Recently I’ve discovered a problem with a few of the character names in one of my books. A majority of them end with on, an, en, or some other variation, and I feel that it is becoming a bit too repetitive. I’m considering changing the names of two of them, and I’d appreciate anyone’s ideas. The genre of the book is fantasy with a few medieval aspects. I like slightly unusual names, but any suggestions you might have would be awesome. 😉 Thank you so much!
