Bucky
He leaned against the wall as the others paused for a minute. Maybe he should have gone back and joined the others…maybe apologized…but he couldn’t right now.
He just couldn’t.
He saw Caden cheering Puck up. But Bucky couldn’t muster the strength to go over.
He couldn’t muster the strength to do a lot of things right now.
Not when Viola was following him…not when he had to pour everything he had into staying safe.
He closed his eyes, tight, fighting back the memories that threatened to rise. Painful memories. Memories he’d much rather forget.
Images floated before his eyes.
Missions. Killing. Torture.
Steve
Bucky had lapsed into complete silence, leaning against the wall, gun in hand.
Steve needed to talk to him…or just do…something.
But he still had Ryo.
He needed to hand him off for a minute.
Steve’s gaze fell on Nehemiah, who had been watching and listening to the entire exchange in silence.
Steve walked over to him.
Nehemiah looked up a bit. “Oh, hello Steve.”
“Hey…uhm…do you mind taking Ryo for just a minute?”
Nehemiah smiled softly and slowly nodded. “Sure.”
“Thank you so much.” Steve whispered, handing Ryo over.
Ryo stared at Steve, his eyes sparking with curiosity. “Stevie…?
“I’ll be right back, Ryo, I just need to check on Bucky.”
“Bucky!?” Ryo squealed, eyes sparkling with delight.
Steve slowly nodded. “Yes, Bucky…and I need to talk to him.”
He walked over to Bucky, gently laying a hand on his shoulder. “Hey, Buck…?”
Bucky jumped and faced Steve with widened eyes, but slowly, they returned to normal. “Oh…Steve, it’s you.”
“You okay, Buck?”
Bucky smiled. “Peachy. Is everyone ready to keep going?”
“I-I don’t know, but Buck-”
“Hey, is everyone ready to go!?” Bucky called out.
Steve grabbed his shoulders and gently forced Bucky to face him. “Buck…what’s wrong with you? I want to help you.”
“You’re not my problem solver, Steve.” Bucky retorted, pulling away, stepping away, going away…

Vlad MAY be redeemed, but I’m not sure yet…they’re both from the 2nd fanfic. I’d like to be them, so, if you don’t mind, I’ll have them run into Aram. 😉

ok I actually think that this between Bucky and Puck might be good for Bucky….ngl and maybe Puck too!! They do not have similar stories but honestly…
In a way they seem to be a bit… similar but not? Idk how to explain it I just feel like they could help one another (if Puck would ever get over himself and become vulnerable. Which I can make happen MWAHAHA XD XD)

Aram
Aram tugged at his cloak, feeling it scrape across the back of his thin shirt. His gaze narrowed in the dimly lit hall of what appeared to be a castle…
Though, when he had lay his head down the night before, he had not been in a castle…
No, he remembered clearly, the starry sky above, and the children positioned all around him.
The laughter from whispered conversations they thought he couldn’t hear, and the tossing and turning of some in their sleep.
The purple haired boy who’d sat up beside him, gazing curiously at his scars.
He could tell the boy wanted to know about them.
At one point…he’d even outright asked him about them.
Aram couldn’t help but chuckle at the lad’s forthrightness.
Not that he told him where he got them, of course.
That would….be too indulgent.
And painful…
He fingered the dagger beneath his cloak. The one he’d stolen all those years ago…when he’d escaped….
He peered around the room, feeling as the cloak chafed his neck.
A small price to pay for the protection. The secrecy.
He sighed, heading for the door opposite of him, and then paused, hearing voices.
Voices he did not recognize to be any of the children he’d been traveling with.
He gripped the handle of his dagger, eyes narrowing.
Come… his mind whispered.
Come…and I will be ready. Whoever you are.

His combat boots pounded against the floor.
He kept his large gun ready…on the alert.
Nadya’s heels clicked against the floor. “Viola may be in here somewhere, since we are…”
Vlad merely nodded.
He wasn’t in the mood to talk to Nadya.
Hah, he never was.
She was annoying, to say it the nicest.
“Going to be silent, are you?”
“Sometimes silence is a sign of intelligence.”
Nadya merely chuckled. Rolled her eyes. “Says the one who’s older sister is a turncoat.”
Vlad turned on her in an instant, fury bubbling, blue eyes piercing. “You leave Madelene out of this.” He snarled.
Nadya shrugged, walking forward. “Whatever. I truly don’t care what you have to say anyhow.”
Vlad rolled his eyes.
Nadya opened a nearby door. Screamed.
Vlad rushed to her side, weapon still in hand, and instantly turned his weapon on the man standing in the doorway.
“Who are you? Are you the reason we’re here!?”
