The little boy turned from a boy into a wolf pup.
Raymond blinked. Once, twice, thrice.
Cummings’ eyes widened. “He’s a freak too!?”
Raymond clicked his tongue. Faced Cummings. “Now, now, Cummings…he’s just…different.”
He turned back to Benji. “Come on, Benji, are you able to turn back into yourself?”
The boy had powers.
Very interesting powers.
And they could be used in a pinch.
(so…obviously, he’s still a villain…???)

The boy, Asher, seemed…absolutely…terrified.
Lily merely watched, a few tears in her eyes.
Poor Aaron…poor Bren…poor…children.
One of the boys, Matthew, suddenly turned his gaze to Lily, Elias, and Albert. “W-what are y-your names?”
Lily smiled softly, pushing back tears. “I’m Lily, and these are my brothers-in-law, Elias and Albert.”
Elias gave a small wave.
Albert didn’t move nor speak, gaze drifting around the room, taking everything in slowly.
Lily nodded. “It’s good to meet all of you…” She whispered.
But they needed to go find Bren.
And fast.
(are y’all ready for me to bring in Alex/Madelene to Bren/Vance, or not yet? ?)

Freak…?
Benji tilted his head, ears falling slightly. He’d heard wolves called a variety of names, but never that.
He tried not to take it personally. Cummings was just a meanie! But…it still hurt his tiny heart (aww Benji!)
“Now, now, Cummings…he’s just…different.” Raymond said, turning back and offering Benji a smile that made him feel a bit better.
Different wasn’t so bad, was it?
“Come on, Benji, are you able to turn back into yourself?”
Benji smiled, puppy maw opening wide as nodded excitedly, tail wagging wildly behind him. He jumped, then squeezed his eyes, focusing.
And then, just as quickly as before, he was back to his boyish self again.
Cummings eyes were wide, face pale. He sputtered, choking on his saliva. Benji couldn’t help but grin at the man’s shock.
Raymond cocked a brow, staring at the boy, a small smile on his face.
“Interesting Benji! How did you come to acquire such powers?”
“I’m a shifter! My Doda can do it too, and my brothers!” He said proudly.
“Hm.” Raymond said, still staring at the boy, as if seeing him in a new light.
Benji frowned, nervously gripping his shirt front. He didn’t like the way the two were suddenly looking at him…
Even Raymond, his new friend seemed different…
“Well, let us continue, hm?” Raymond said, reaching a hand out.
Benji stared at it for a moment, then looked up into Raymond’s eyes. Slowly, he took the man’s hand, hoping he’d find his parents soon.

Aww Benji!!
I’m on for a few minutes, but I won’t be on any the rest of the day. I’m going fishing with my family, and then going to a church activity! But I can RP now. 🙂
Freedom, I’m okay with Madilyn/Alex meeting them, I’ve just got to RP as Vance talking to Bren, and then I’ll be ready, if Godly is! :).

They didn’t need this freak boy with them.
But with his abilities…maybe he’d be…helpful.
And he said he had…brothers.
Brothers who would likely do anything to keep their baby brother safe.
And that…now, that…could be used.
Cummings slowly smiled, watching Raymond and Benji in front of him.
Maybe having this boy wasn’t the worst idea…
…maybe he would just be helpful.
“Come on, Benji, Cummings, we’ll go this way.” Raymond suddenly piped up, turning the corner to start walking down another hallway.
Cummings merely nodded.
Maybe Raymond was soft…
…but maybe he was also highly intelligent.

…??…something happened. I mean, Vance is…evil. Very dark. And…well…he’s abusive and cruel, and Asher…well, let’s just say he can be very strong willed ?. So you put together a cruel and abusive villain who is used to getting his way…and a strong willed, defiant young boy who doesn’t want to do what the villain wants…
You can imagine ??
Also I think I might have him show his powers in a minute…On accident

Caden
Caden shared a look with his brother, who had his hand on his bow. Lucien gave a small nod, returning to his normal stance. Caden offered a smile to the stranger, slowly stepping forward and extending a hand.
“Well, it’s good to meet you, Nehemiah. My name’s Caden, and this is my brother Lucien.”
Nehemiah’s shoulders relaxed at Caden’s greeting gesture and he shook the young teen’s hand. “Good to meet you…”
“Guess this castle brings quite a few people here agains there will huh?” Lucien said, crossing his arms and leaning against a wall.
“No kidding.” Puck said. Lucien blinked. He’d forgotten the kid was there. He looked over and found the boy sitting cross-legged on some sort of box, throwing stones at a wall. “Does anyone have any clues about this place? At all? Or are we all just wandering around like lost sheep?”
“We’ll find our way eventually,” Steve said with a smile, looking at the young lad. Puck shot him a small glare before returning to his rock throwing.
Lucien rolled his eyes.
“Hey! Maybe we should make a map!” Caden suggested.
“Yea? How would we do that, we have no tools. Also, last I checked your not a cartographer. You’ll just end up drawing squiggles. We wouldn’t be able to tell what in Aú you’ve drawn.”
Caden blushed, “I’m a better artist then you.”
“In your dreams,” Lucien retorted.
“You wouldn’t know how to make a map…would ya?” Caden asked the newcomer. He shook his head demurely, chuckling softly. Caden frowned.
“Well…Puck’s an artist!” Caden said, “He could start us one.”
Puck’s lips puckered in disgust, as if the biggest secret of his life had just been revealed. His ears turned pink and he looked away, muttering.
“You’re an artist?” Steve asked, raising a brow. Puck didn’t answer, still glaring at the wall.
“Sure is. He just doesn’t like to admit it,” Lucien said, knuckling Puck’s head. The boy let out an indignant cry, shoving Lucien’s hands away.
“The point still stands, there’s no paper or ink. So even if I wanted to make start you a map, which I don’t, I wouldn’t be able to.” Puck said, crossing his arms.

Nehemiah
This group already seemed…fairly friendly.
He slowly let his body relax.
One of, if not the tallest one there, a blonde, laughed and smiled at the boy named Puck. “Too bad we don’t have a piece of paper…you sound like a great artist.”
Puck shot the blonde a glare.
The blonde faced Nehemiah with a smile. “Oh, and I’m Steve, that’s my best friend Bucky, and that little toddler is Ryo.”
Nehemiah nodded. “Nice to meet all of you.”
The brunette, Bucky, turned to Steve with a raised eyebrow. “You don’t have your sketchbook?”
Steve slowly shook his head. “Afraid not, Buck.” He slowly put his shield on his back. “Wish I did, though. A map would be helpful right now. Welcome to the group, Nehemiah.”
Nehemiah nodded. Smiled. “Thank you.”
Steve turned to the others; Caden, Lucien, and Puck. “We don’t have pen and paper, so I guess we’ll just have to wing it.”
