Hey everybody,
I found out about this webinar on twitter and I already signed up myself. It’s free and what writer doesn’t want to get better at selling books? (I do.)
I thought some of you might too.

November 29, 2015 at 7:34 pm #7727I also ordered a whole book on marketing books by one of the hosts. I’ll let you know how I like it when I’m done with it.

Boo.
Take notes for me, it looks interesting.November 29, 2015 at 9:41 pm #7743Alright, I’m terrible with notes, but I have a good memory.

INTJ - Inhumane. No-feelings. Terrible. Judgment and doom on everyone.
December 10, 2015 at 5:28 pm #7965Well, I just finished the webinar. If you missed it … I don’t know what to say. Big big bummer. It was fantastic. I had just finished reading a full book on marketing books, and I still learned some new and very helpful information. Did anyone else attend?
@writefury Instead of giving you my notes, I’m just going to give you the notes the guy who did the webinar gave us. Here is the link: http://www.yourfirst10kreaders.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/10K_Cheat_Sheet_Boost_your_Books’_Visibility.pdf If you have any questions based off these notes or just about the webinar, I can do my best to answer them for you.🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢
December 10, 2015 at 6:28 pm #7966I would like to set up that email list thingy, only problem is that you have to be over 18 yrs. old, at least that’s Mailchimp’s policy.
December 10, 2015 at 8:05 pm #7967If you use WordPress, download the mailpoet plugin. I just started using it, and I really like it. It doesn’t care how old you are, and it is free up to 2000 subscribers.

December 10, 2015 at 9:02 pm #7968Cool! Can you give away a free book with mailpoet?
December 11, 2015 at 8:32 am #7969I’ve never tried. I assume however you would do it on another system would work with them. Do you know how to give away a free ebook? If your book is permafree, then all you have to do is supply the link, but I would feel kinda cheesy giving away something that is already free. Is it a promo code maybe?

December 11, 2015 at 8:59 am #7970I’m not sure, but I think you link them to a download page on your own website. Unfortunately, I can’t use that plugin because I’m using the free WordPress.com. *Sighs* Oh well, maybe some day.
December 11, 2015 at 9:16 am #7971That’s strange. I would have thought that any WordPress system would let you use the plugin. If you ever want to switch over to the WordPress.org system, (You’ll need to back up everything!) it is free other than the server, which for me, only costs $12 a year. Totally worth it.

December 11, 2015 at 10:30 am #7972How would you back everything up? Someday I hope to upgrade to a better website, but not right now.
December 11, 2015 at 11:24 am #7973I have backed up my site before, but I don’t think it would work the same way for you. I would play it safe and just ask a techno geek (or two) what you should do.
