A fluvial geomorphologist.
February 6, 2016 at 7:14 am #9066A… what? 😛
February 7, 2016 at 11:37 pm #9077Fluvial geomorphologist is someone who is devoted to understanding rivers, both in their natural setting as well as how they respond to human-induced changes in a watershed. 😛 😛 😛
How did you know about it @anna-brie? I had to google it to find out. I’d never have thought of it if someone had asked me. 😀 My knowledge is not that great.Oops – tag – @kate-flournoy. 😉
February 8, 2016 at 1:08 am #9078@bluejayI went to the Australia Creation Super Camp last month. We had a real live fluvial geomorphologist speaking there. He had a story about how he was on the upper Amazon and accidentally crossed the border from Peru to Equador and got caught. Then when they were escaping someone fell out of the boat. It was dark, but they had a torch. Then we we given this question. “You have fallen out of the boat. You have ten seconds to think, what do you do?” If you answer correctly then you should become a fluvial geomorphologist.
Any way that mad me think of another idea: A Christian border guard in a soviet county.
February 8, 2016 at 3:46 am #9079“I would throw up water so that the light of the torch would catch it.” 🙂
Confession: My sister is Kelly Just. She told me that she met you but I hadn’t made the connection.
And I’d heard the answer via my siblings.
Isn’t it a small world??? 😛 @anna-brieFebruary 8, 2016 at 4:39 pm #9088I almost asked if you were related to her. I had forgotten she had any sisters. Yes it is a small world.

That is so cute @rolena-hatfield. Have you seen the movie Dumbo? That has an elephant who likes a mouse called Timothy. Sweet movie.:)
@anna-brie Are you interested in writing to each other? I can get Kelly to send you my email address if you want.February 8, 2016 at 6:00 pm #9094Ah yes Dumbo! I had forgotten about that movie! I grew up on Dumbo and Cinderella. If it wasn’t one in the VHS player it was the other. Huh… it’ll be weird when I try to explain to my kids one day what a VHS player is. hehehe 🙂

My youngest sister adores the old Cinderella. I love the new Cinderella movie. (The acted out one.) Have you seen it? If not, you should. It is great. 😛February 8, 2016 at 6:59 pm #9099I’m actually in the process of writing out the gentle giant knight and action-girl princess story I had the idea for on here. 😛 Thanks for starting it up, @hope!
