Hey, everyone!!
So I have a few biblical fiction ideas that may never come into fruition, but I just wanted to share to see what y’all think. Please share any ideas that you have as well! This is just a place to dump any of those random biblical fiction ideas you get when you’re in the middle of a sermon or a shower. XD
First of all, I had a super big project idea:
The life of Simon Peter! I have a moodboard for this one! (I just really wanted to make a moodboard that day. I really didn’t need to make one XD) (And yes… I did use a picture of Simon from the Chosen. 😛)
Secondly, I thought of maybe doing a short story/novella about Rhoda. She was the girl in Acts who was the first to see Peter after he was released from prison. (Well maybe not the first, but I think y’all know what I mean 😉)
Another idea that I had a while back was do write a novel on the life of Jonah! It thought that would be really cool!
So what about you?? Any biblical fiction ideas? What do you think of mine?
Simon Peter’s moodboard (that phrase just sounds very weird XD):

January 6, 2023 at 8:13 pm #128155@esther-c Whoa, I love that aesthetic! The life of Jonah would be really cool to see, since it’s so vague what is given in the Bible! I’d love to see someone’s interpretation of it.
I’m not really one to write Biblical fiction, but the only one I’ve ever really wanted to write was the story of David and Absalom. Every time I read it in the Bible, I’m just in tears, it’s so dramatic, so sad…
Lately, it's been on my brain
Would you mind letting me know

SIMON!!! XD XD XD 😍😍 (BTW I’m really nervous about him right now. Can’t wait for episode five of season three to drop on Sunday.🤭)You did a great job with the mood board.
I love biblical fiction. I have at least one story going in that genre but haven’t looked at in a super long time. I was writing it about Barabas and his life before, during, and after Jesus death and resurrection.
The life of Simon Peter would be epic. Are you thinking about bringing his wife into it more like the Chosen did? I’d love reading one about Rhoda. And Jonah. All are great ideas.

Lol that’s exactly how it happens!!!!
Have you ever read A Sparrow Alone (Alicia Petersen) or Twice Freed (Patricia St. John)? They are two of my favorite biblical fiction. Also The Bronze Bow is super good too.

Oooh. David and Absalom would be really cool to read fictionalized! (Is that a word??)
Ik! Simon is awesome! XD And his character arc is already in the Bible, so that’s one thing I don’t have to figure out. XD It would just be so cool to write his story. Cuz he went from acting bold, but not showing boldness when the time came, to acting bold and actually showing true boldness!
We’re excited for the next episode as well!

Woah! that would be really interesting to read!!

Probably. By the time I actually write it, most of the Chosen will probably be out, (if not all of it), so it will be hard not to copy it. XD
Thanks so much!

No, I haven’t. I’ll have to check it out! 🙂

January 7, 2023 at 11:49 am #128190@esther-c I’m pretty sure it’s a word, lol. Yeah, the family drama was always really emotional for me.

I’m actually thinking of making one on a disciples sister. I’d like to do one on Judas and then maybe Peter. Comparing the 2 would be fun.

I know we don’t technically know that they had a sister but I guess that’s the point. What do y’all think?

That sounds really cool!! Seeing that from someone else’s prospective would be really neat!
